You could also get a lush bath bomb set or any soap and glory. A voucher for new look or iTunes? They are at a hard age because they don't play with toys anymore.

My dd also loves jacqueline Wilson and David Walliams books. You could make a hamper for the cinema with vouchers, popcorn, chocolate etc.

If she has her ears pierced you could get a nice pair of earrings or other jewellery, I asked my daughter and she said a nice top or something.

Mama dh wants a gopro, so I'm keeping a look out for bargains. As far as I know it's good for action photography / filming. Dh wants it for mountain biking and snowboarding. So I guess if your mum is into sports then it would be good. If it's just photography she likes, them perhaps not?

On another note, those gorilla pod things ( a stand to put the camera on with moveable legs - sorry, crap explanation I know!) make quite a good gift for photographers if she doesn't already have one?
