Hi - shall we do this again this year? For those not in the know, we send a round robin style letter to another mumsnetter from 'Janet and Roy' - updates on their bridge contests, bunions, little Petal's escapades with the local cats and so on. The more detailed yet dreary, the better .

If anyone would like one with a USA postmark, PM me. I'd also love someone to send one to my DM!

I don't have anyone to send one to, but am happy to forward one from the Bristol area. Would I be right in thinking that the mnetter who wants it sent to their friend/relative writes the letter, sends it to me, then I forward it on?

I love the idea, and am a bit sad that I can't think of anyone to send one to myself. Having said that, if anyone is pushed for time but wants to send one I could write a letter, if I were given details to drop in to make it sound legit...

Yes please! Did it last year with hilarious results! I'm in west coast Scotland - my recipient is my friend in London. Would need a tweak or two for her.

Oh my sil got I a tizzy and was being all adamant about not putting weirdos up! She thought she 'do met them while drink in a camping trip and was raging about not remembering then and then them inviting themselves! My Db guessed it had something to do with me but kept her going!

Does the MNetter writing let in on the joke or the MNetter known to the recipient?

I am in west berks. Very much in 'middleton country' if so have a snobby royal fan you wish to send to I can happily chuck in a few anecdotes. My Janet and Roy loved flamenco last year but are very versatile. They have their own caravan so can pay long visits...

Hi, great idea, I love it.

DH has been threatening promising to do some spoofs for years, without them ever actually appearing. I would love to have him sent a spoof, as a gentle reminder. Would be happy to reciprocate, or send one wherever from home (Windsor villages rather than Castle) . Most weeks, I drive up to the Cambridge/Northants border, so could post there too.

Happy to write some, would be a SE England postmark. I know we've probably all had name changes over the recent few months but someone called AndHarry wrote a brilliant one for me last year which confused the hell out of the recipient. Be great to repeat that! :)

Could someone please write one on my behalf? I'm going to be really cheeky and hope that there is someone who doesn't want one in return as I am studying at the moment and don't need any extra workload however I promise to return the favour next year?! I would love one from Scotland, Norfolk, or Northumberland if possible. Thanks in advance!
