So far I have

A mini Christmas pudding
Puff pastry mince pies
Marmite with his name on
Real ale from local brewery
Bottle of red wine

And I'm stuck! Any ideas please? He has a sweet tooth, likes alcohol and spicy food.

Wasabi peas
Old fashioned Sweets
Posh nuts to go with the ale

Any hobbies?

NickNacks · 21/11/2015 10:44

Hobbies- cycling, golf, going to watch his football team play, listening to music, watching films.

Nuts he'd like, and the sweets, thanks. I'm going to have to google the peas.

Wasabi peas are spicy. You can get them in Asda so not hard to find.

I'm doing "Hampers" for ds1 (20) and ds2 (18). Ds1 has a fleece lined shirt, 4 bottles of fancy cider, after eights, chocolate orange, shower gel, deodorant, socks, a book and a t-shirt and Ds2 has M&S pyjama trousers (fussy), Lindt Linder chocolates, shower gel, deodorant, socks, a book and a T-shirt. I will need to get ds2 something in place of the alcohol as he doesn't drink! But that's them sorted.

There's a couple of places do some amazing hot chilli sauces and foods - I've been Googling for my brother, the chilli king.

Lounge pants (as they seem to call them now Grin Primark actually do some really nice ones with all sorts of different designs on - I always buy my pfb and no2 son at least one pair each (they are 25 and 21)
Or dare I suggest a onesie? Grin Something comfy for watching films in anyway.
Popcorn - I think they do various weird and wonderful new flavours now - might have been on Firebox or somewhere like that.
Mug? I got DH a GoT one last year that says "Sorry Love, I'm in the Night's Watch" and he loves it.

My DH loves spicy food and every year gets a big box of spicy goodies from Santa. It usually includes a variety of hot sauces, variety of jarred peppers, spicy nuts and spicy chips, horseradish sauce, pickled garlic, hot cinnamon candies.....anything spicy that I can find. I'm American and don't know how much of this kind of thing you have available there but I hope that gives you some ideas.

Some flavoured ground coffees /coffee syrup/variety of posh coffees
A tea infuser ( do a search for Mr Tea on Amazon) and some loose tea
Chocolate covered coffee beans
Astronaut food (Hawkins Bazaar)
Grinder with dried chillis inside
Chilli hot chocolate (Whittards)

salixcaprea · 22/11/2015 16:45

Lovelydiscusfish · 22/11/2015 17:20

Does he drink spirits? Have got my dh an unusual looking bottle of gin today from Sainsburys - I noticed quite a few of the more unusual spirits were reduced at the moment.

Sorry to hijack but where did you get the Marmite with name on?
