You have to get the proper good ones, there's quite a variation in quality in the UK. Some of them hardly taste like butter cookies compared to the proper Danish ones. You can always order some from Danishfooddirect.co.uk or Scandinavian kitchen

Oh and oops I can't actually recommend a brand, don't remember any.....

DH has literally just said that these are all he wants for Christmas

A friend of ours used to work for Maersk shipping and used to give us boxes of these at Christmas, oh they're amazing......

When I was a kid in Denmark, my granny would get the Bisca or Karen Volf ones.
I don't know if they are available in the UK though.

Homemade ones are much nicer, and they are quite fun to make.

I do love those Danish cookies, such a treat. I always keep some on hand for unexpected visitors.

I love them. Even the sight of the tins gladdens my heart. They are imo what Christmas overindulgence is all about, even moreso than chocolate oranges.

As that is the brand I remember as a child - as math said, the sight of the tin got me all excited last year! But they just weren't the same, I'm sure they must have changed the recipe :(
