Gifts for DDad/Grandad

Help please with present ideas for my DDad!

He is a keen gardener but has most things he needs for that. He has millions of books so would prefer not to add to the collection. He likes travelling to nearby places by train...he's not into cooking (other than the bare minimum) but does like foody things (pickles, marmalade etc, so could possibly rustle up a collection of those type of things).

Any good documentary DVD box-sets? Or Yes Prime Minister style comedy?

He normally just gets us charity 'I bought you a donkey' type gifts

Any other ideas?

Does he have a senior citizens discount rail card. My son bought one for my O H last year and I have hardly seen him since. OH not son.

Another idea is the Yellow Book of Gardens that are open for Charity. These are private gardens which open just for a few days. He could combine his rail travel with garden visits.
