oh pants, just realsied al lthe xmas delivery slots were booked weeks ago.

which means i have to get a sitter in for peter, and try and go late one evening where it will hopefully be quieter. i dont need xmas dinner stuff *(at in-laws for xmas) but need to get the normal weekly shop and loads of milk on the day before xmas eve.

Can you buy in stuff in the next week or so and freeze as much as possible, including stuff like milk and bread?

i'm going to see if my parents still have the table top freezer from their caravan which i can use to stuff more stuff in. fortunatly i meal plan. they have a slot for the 20th. that will have to do.

its going to be manic and peter will be all protective of his wires. I went one xmas when pregnant and someone tried to ram a trolly into my bump.

I think 21st is last delivery day anyway. It is for Sainsburys here.

You are lucky to get the 20th. Just checked here and all slots booked from 19th onwards, right up to the 28th. Going to try and be organised and book a Tuesday 2nd Jan slot in a couple of days when available.

Oh that's an idea - must book a post Christmas slot. I'm not setting foot in a shop until after mid January at least. I don't do huge queues and crowds of ill tempered shoppers

now going to hunt downa 2nd hand chest freezer or table top freezer as my parents have gotton rid of theirs.
