Ideas for 10 month old baby boy

He will be almost 11 months actually at Christmas. He's our first baby and will possibly be walking by then, as he can already stand/climb/cruise very well. He already has a walker, and my mom has brought him a smart trike for christmas! Any ideas please?

The basic ones from elc are very portable too.

Ds will be 14 months, but is dc3, so we already have wooden toddle truck with blocks, ELC whizz around garage, shape sorters, wooden postbox with letters (ELC - fab), click clack track etc. we're getting stuff down on Christmas eve, having told ds1 and dd repeatedly that santa likes to recycle (half of ELC in the loft...)

Off santa he's having the tomy hide and squeak eggs, a Paddington bear dressing gown and Christmas set of that's not my... Books (santa, snowman, reindeer, donkey)

In his stocking (mainly for ds1 and dd's benefit ) he has the zoo little pram book, thomas socks, Paddington cards, hungry caterpillar flannels and disney cd

Stacking cups! Simple but very effective and long-lasting.

I have twin grandson and grand daughter, who will be 7 months old. I will be buying something for a bit older in age they can grow into. The boy, its like a car steering wheel with activities. And the girl, its a teapot and cups, that have activities and music.

My DS was 11 months for his first Christmas. We tried to buy bits he could grow into, as his birthday is so close to Christmas.

A jug for the bath. 37p in wilko and the most used present!

He took ages to unwrap his presents as he played with everything as he opened it, we were still unwrapping 3 days later!

My 10month old is getting clothes and small stocking as he is youngest so has lot's to play with.

A xylophone
Thomas trains.
He is not really interested in his own baby toys.

DS was 11 months last Christmas and his favourite presents were:

• ELC wooden kitchen walker
• Tomy Hide and Squeak Eggs
• Duplo
• Lots of books but his favourites were the Pantone cardboard colour set and the "That's Not My" series

My daughter will be 1 on Christmas Eve! So were stumped for Christmas. Decided on a puppet theatre. Have asked people to buy her a puppet for it as an idea. Thought should last her years until eventually she can put on shows herself. She's mesmerised by puppets at 11 months, about the only time she sits still ;)

DD1 loves the janod chunky wooden puzzles. She got her first one for her first birthday and still plays with it now, over a year later. She can do the puzzle in seconds but loves playing with the wooden figures.

Toot toot stuff

soloula has reminded me of DS's absolute favourite toy which he still plays with every day- his Janod magnetic stacking rocket. All of the Janod toys seem fab actually, he loves their pull along wooden dog too.

Both my DSs were / are going to be 11-12 months old at Christmas. For DS1 we found the following turned out to be good buys:

Simple colourful plastic tea set
Bag of megabloks
Any kind of baby-safe musical instruments
Simple wooden blocks. I still remember how excited we got when our PFB started building towers FOUR BLOCKS HIGH :-P
Elefun - an elephant that plays music and shoots balls out of its trunk. I think its Playskool?
Stacking / nesting toys / toys where something pops up when you whack a button
Big chunky toy cars (be warned, Toot Toot things NEVER SHUT UP!!! ELC do a nice plastic garage that is much quieter).
