put on some music and get into a rhythm, you'll have fun (maybe)

myrrhthamoo · 08/12/2006 21:45

Do you have one of those natty little tape dispensers with pre-cut strips of tape that you wear on your hand?

I do.

SPARKLER1clausiscomingtotown · 08/12/2006 21:55

We always end up rushing to wrap ours on xmas eve every year - keep putting it off hoping the elves will wrap them while I'm asleep.
I am going to be more organised this year.
I'm interested too in the sellotape wrist thingy. Where did you find it?

LadyTophamHatt · 08/12/2006 21:55

Cod....really, no-one, ever...in the history of mankind would want a present wrapped by my DH.

It's painful to watch. I've even been known to wrap my OWN present from him!!!

(plus he's at work)

WonderCod · 08/12/2006 22:03

nutcracker · 08/12/2006 22:03

Blimey Cod you are organised.

I can't wrap xmas pressies yet, have no labels and I know I will forget whats what.

myrrhthamoo · 08/12/2006 22:03

Like this

nutcracker · 08/12/2006 22:04

Ohhh thats good.

WonderCod · 08/12/2006 22:06

nutty that was almost sexual.

LadyTophamHatt · 08/12/2006 22:07

I know Cod...it that bloody rod I've made again, isn't it??
Bastard thing.
I need to get it surgically removed so that i can hit myself over the head with it.

I used to LOVE wrapping presents, would spend ages on each one. making hand made bows and sewing them to ribbon. All co-ordinated paper, bought by the sheet for stupid amounts of £££.....blah..blah...blah..

Nowaday it's 12mtres of virual see through paper from the pound shop and, if their luck and bit of sparkly selotape.

My brother's ex-wife used to be a wrapper.

In Kendals. You know when you are very rich and you buy something costing mega-bucks and they wrap it in the shop for you? The presents she wrapped for us were always beautiful - paper in kind of fancy creases and bouffanty bows.

But the whole effect was ruined cos they always reeked of cigarettes .

WonderCod · 08/12/2006 22:13

youa dn shoppign bags are one and the same
she is ds2s godmaother
she drived me nuts with ehr wrappginathon

nutcracker · 08/12/2006 22:15

LOl Cod, nothing remotly sexual happening in my life at the mo, sellotape related or otherwise.

I love doing the wrapping for about 5 minutes and then i get fed up.

WonderCod · 08/12/2006 22:16

i dont balme
you
ok by tomorrow night iw ant the sotkgins DONE and in bags names and in yer wardrobe
ok?

oha nd your family that you have bought also done

myrrhthamoo · 08/12/2006 22:20

I don't mind the wrapping - I don't like the carrying down and back up again. Presents are on top of our wardrobes but I need a table to wrap on so I have to carry them down 2 flights of stairs to the dining table then back up again.

Mine are not done yet, needless to say, though will have to do brother's and gf's tomorrow as they are coming to visit.

deaconblue · 08/12/2006 22:21

What is wrong with my beautiful wrapping you old boot? You will note that this year your ds' pressies are wrapped in cheap paper with no fancy bows - too bloody knackered chasing ds round living room as he tries to attack dvd player to bother
