Can anyone recommend me a fire pit please?

I think I want to get DH a fire pit for Christmas. Don't want to spend masses but would like a good one, preferably with the option of a rack on top to cook stuff. Anyone got one recently that they like? Would really appreciate a recommendation!

The Firepit Company make some amazing stuff. I don't know about cooking on them but they could probably make you whatever you asked for. If you put a rack or something across a half bowl I guess you could use it for cooking on.

They are very very smoky, and only warm if you sit super close and then your clothes smell. Can you tell I'm not a fan! Dh has one and he likes it, we got ours from b&q for about £80 but I'm not sure they would have them at this time of year.
