I was hoping for some advice for the best / cheapest toy shops. To my knowledge we have a toys r us, a Smyths and Entertainer nearby. Which of those are the best? Are there any other good places for sourcing good value toys? Christmas presents needed for a range of children from 3-8 years old.

Thank you muchly

I really like Smyths but not sure if they vary branch to branch

It depends whether or not you're after specific toys or want to visit one toy shop and get all the presents there.

The Entertainer is shut on a Sunday and in my experience ToysRUs is very pricey. Does that help?

I like Smyths - I find Toys R Us dear.

Do you have a home bargains near you? They usually have a good selection of toys at cheap prices but probably won't have the most up to date stuff, it's good for cheap little extras/stocking fillers though. Out of the ones you mentioned I like smyths the best.

We browse around a Toys r us but then google everything and last year found Argos ....JL and Amazon cheaper with all the different offers they have.

I prefer to not use The Entertainer as the owner is rampantly Christian which is why the shops are closed on Sundays and why they do not sell certain toys e.g. Harry Potter. I don't wish to support his views so I shop elsewhere....
