farepak- sorry to bring this up

My friend had a letter today with £90 in vouchers from the kind poeple that organised the whip[ round for the peeps who lost money when farepak went bust.

With the vouchers was a letter asking for her bank details. I haven't seen the letter but I told her to check it out before giving her bank details.

Anyone else had this letter?

nope. would hate to think that anyone would take advantage of the sitation, but it's possible. there is a website, i think its called "unfairpack" - i'd try there first. can't think why you'd need bank details to cash vouchers????

why would they want her bank details? if she has vouchers, they aren;t going to make a payment into her bank too??

that's what I told her but they may be planning on making more payments. She's bringing the letter for me to have a look at on Tuesday so shall have a look-see then.

Don't give them,it was on bbc 1 on monday or tuesday (the prog was real story) this week this where the fund are sending vouchers to all the agents this week.

I havent heard anyone else say they where asked for bank details mine hasnt turned up yet

i had a look at unfairpack- thanks for the info - and can't see any mention anywhere of them neding bank details. May have to register and post to ask the question
