Just spotted this on Playpennies - a junior Christmas duvet set - have been looking for a while and could only find single but no cotbed/junior size - £9 in asda

Pretty please can anyone help me out with a code for The Book People??

trixymalixy · 16/11/2015 20:35

Tkmaxx had the gum ball machines same as the bhs ones for £3.99.

EnglishRose1320 · 16/11/2015 20:35

MAGIC Gives you 15% off at Book People until midnight, not sure if it's on all books.

Siwi · 16/11/2015 20:41

Where can I buy a single, large, Christmas card?

Littlemousewithcloggson · 16/11/2015 20:43

Just got an email from the entertainer to say there is 33% off toys and board games on their site. Haven't looked to see what's in there though

frazzled74 · 16/11/2015 20:47

I've still got loads to buy , but have got some great bargains thanks to this thread. Am currently trying to resist the lottie dolls for dd who has enough! I've ordered the week subscription for dh, if anyone has a Boden voucher/code that they will not use, I would love it. I'd like to buy dd an outfit for Christmas Day . I've hunted through my recycling and no Boden mail .

yumyumpoppycat · 16/11/2015 20:52

So there is an offer for parts of the uk to get £5 gift card for amazon orders picked up before friday via pass the parcel www.hotukdeals.com/deals/free-amazon-5-gift-card-when-click-n-collect-your-amazon-orders-from-pass-parcel-2324391 I am not sure if I did it correctly but ordered the maps book and harry potter colouring book. Irritatingly the expected delivery date is Sat which means I will not get the voucher, so fingers crossed it arrives before then and I get £5 back!

RJnomaaaaaargh · 16/11/2015 20:59

Siwi I should imagine most card shops or supermarkets would stock then unless you have a really bizarre requirement?

Hangingbasket14 · 16/11/2015 21:05

Frazzled I posted a code up thread, also call Boden they might send you a voucher! Has anyone seen any deals on coffee shop gift vouchers, Costa/Nero etc? I think Groupon did one in January but can see anything recent....

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 16/11/2015 21:06

siwi have u tried card factory? i bought some from there last year :)

Strawberryfield12 · 16/11/2015 21:09

wyldstile thank you for Charles Tyrwhitt code!

dayslikethis · 16/11/2015 21:18

Ok, I know this has been done before (maybe even on this thread), but I've searched and I cannot for the life of me find the previous posts, SO....

Ideas for stocking fillers for DH please.

Here are the criteria

  • must be small (I have things already which are a reasonable size, I just need a couple more small wee things to fill up the spaces)
  • must be less than £10
  • must not be useless (I know a lot of fun things are great, but we do not need more tat lying around the house with no purpose - I have just bought lightsaber chopsticks - fun, but with a purpose!)
  • must not be rude! (Kids will be watching him open it!)

So - what are you filling your DH's stocking with?

ExasperatedAlmostAlways · 16/11/2015 21:24

What age is the imaginext best for? My sons three in January, would he be too young? I had a look (play) with it quickly in smyths but don't know if he'd be too young still.

AttitcusFinchIsMyFather · 16/11/2015 21:28

dayslikethis - have you got him a wallet ninja? I bought one for all the males in my family!

ohhelpohnoitsa · 16/11/2015 21:30

My son is 3.5yrs and l8ves his older brothers' old imaginext stuff ...bat cave and knights castle.

ecofreckle · 16/11/2015 21:32

Thanks for Maps book suggestion. The Zoo-ology book we got for £7 last year has been a major success with our 2.5 year old so I'll try maps too. I'm a geographer so I was easily swayed!

My 11yo niece would like 'more lego' for Christmas. I have absolutely no idea about lego. Any favorite sets that are also bargains at all? Thanks again.

MrsAFlowerpot · 16/11/2015 21:34

Attitcus do you have a link for the wallet ninja?

PamelaEwing · 16/11/2015 21:34

Some lovely Christmas decorations and home bits coming to Aldi this Thursday, particularly these wreaths and garlands amongst lots of other festive items like a door mat for £3.99 etc.

SirNiallDementia · 16/11/2015 21:41

Exasperated I'd say Imaginext would be great for an almost 3 year old. My DS has been playing with his brother's since turning 2. Also you'll get loads of use of it as my 8 year old still plays with it!

GingerFoxInAT0phat · 16/11/2015 21:43

Has anyone seen any Jurassic world bargains? My 6 year old is obsessed with it and bought himself the only bargain I had seen with his pocket money! (Indominous Rex from asda reduced from £40 to £25!)

I've kept my eyes peeled on here but must have missed any that has been posted.

saladfingers · 16/11/2015 21:49

Dayslikethis do you have link to the lightsaber chop sticks please, they sound like a great stocking filler! :-)

saladfingers · 16/11/2015 21:53

I also hunted through recycling at the weekend but no Boden voucher then one turns up in the post today...don't give up hope....I don't shop with them often so maybe I'm a last resort sort of customer to try to entice back into Johnnie's fold??

dayslikethis · 16/11/2015 21:54

Atticus I am off to google wallet ninja - I have no idea what one of this even is!

salad someone on here mentioned them and I couldn't find the link so I just ended up doing an Amazon search - there are loads of variations to choose from

dayslikethis · 16/11/2015 21:56

Wallet ninja added to Amazon basket - thank you Atticus
