Somebody was looking for unicorn stuff a while back - just spotted these unicorn slippers on amazon for £7.07 here

GingerFoxInAT0phat · 16/11/2015 22:23

Thank you nocuts, I'll have a look now!

Kefybaby · 16/11/2015 22:31

Hello! Any offers on the maxi micro scooters around? I bought the mini version from jojo maman bebe a few years ago when they had a discount on but I note that they now state that discounts do not apply to scooters... Thanks!

dayslikethis · 16/11/2015 22:32

Someone was looking for unicorn stuff? paperchase have some bits and pieces in - a wee snowglobe, some wee lunch boxe type things, a money box, pencils etc

Kefybaby · 16/11/2015 22:41

Lots of sylvanians coming up on amazon lightening deals - later tonight and early tomorrow morning.

wyldstile · 16/11/2015 22:45

kefybaby I've just ordered 2 maxi micros today, from a German website that has been recommended on here before. £128 inc delivery for the pair. Amazing, when they're £100 on many UK sites. (And I looked long and hard, so if anyone dares tell how I could have got them cheaper, I'll cry...)

wyldstile · 16/11/2015 22:47

Site would be useful... Maxi micros here der-rollenshop.de

Notso · 16/11/2015 22:50

ExasperatedAlmostAlways I bought the imaginext castle when my two youngest were 3 and 2. They loved it. We added the lions den and some of the Batman sets last year. It all gets played with regularly and any visiting children seem to love it. I have an older son 11 who really likes playing with it all as well.

Kefybaby · 16/11/2015 22:57

Wyldstile, you are a star! Flowers

Catanddogmake6 · 17/11/2015 00:42

Thank you Kefybaby. Sylvanian Maple Manor House down to £35 on Amazon on lightening deal. Wouldn't have seen without the tip.

yumyumpoppycat · 17/11/2015 00:52

yes thanks I got the cat family!

spub · 17/11/2015 06:42

Can anyone please suggest gifts to send to California for a 5yo and 9yo boy? Budget up to £20 each but preferably less plus I'll need to post them.
Sending all the usual superhero or Disney stuff is a bit coals to Newcastle. I sent tartan Jammies and British chocolate last year but am a bit stumped now!
They love minecraft and Lego but have loads of it. Any ideas gratefully received.

RumAppleGinger · 17/11/2015 06:49

Morning! This just popped up on my FB feed: 24% off everything at the Disney store online. Enter TOYTUESDAY at the checkout. Just secured DS his BB8 droid Grin

dayslikethis · 17/11/2015 07:20

How about books spub? We used to live in the US and there is very little crossover in books - especially in the younger age ranges.

Something like David Walliams or How to Train Your Dragon would likely go down well with the 9yr old, and I'm certain they would never have heard of the David Walliams books and even the Dragon books, while they are a bit more popular they certainly aren't widespread.

For the 5 year old I am assuming they are in kinder and therefore just beginning to read themselves so you could get books to be read to them - you could definitely get away with something like StickMan still at that age (and it's kind of Christmassy) or there are loads of slightly older picture books around. Or if you can bear it, the dreaded Horrid Henry might be popular!

You could add some Christmas chocs to it, or if you're really quick (like get it posted today or tomorrow) you could just do the books as Christmas presents and add in chocolate advent calendars for them in advance of Christmas. Advent calendars really aren't a thing there - esp not chocolate ones - and many of our kids' friends were insanely jealous of our kids' bog standard dairy milk ones last year! Bully, but light weight-wise for posting too.

spub · 17/11/2015 07:24

Days you are a total legend. Superb suggestions. Wondering if I can do books via Amazon.com with gift wrap but post actual chic advent calendars.
SmileWineThanks
Soooo pleased( twirls)

spub · 17/11/2015 07:25

Choc, not chic. Though some are both!Grin

ItStillLooksLikeRainDear · 17/11/2015 07:26

AttitcusFinchIsMyFather · 17/11/2015 07:26

spub, how about Stampys Lovely Book if they are Minecraft fans? I bet they cant get that over there yet!

AttitcusFinchIsMyFather · 17/11/2015 07:27

stampys book on amazon

I bought it for my 7 year old Minecraft daft son.

d270r0 · 17/11/2015 07:27

This is probably not a Christmas present as such- but a bargain all the same!
'Pink parcel' do monthly subscription boxes supposed to be for 'your time of the month' with tampons/towels etc. (your choice) but also include a bunch of lovely treats, beauty products, chocolate, teabags etc. They are normally £12.99 per month but with the code PPFRESH you get the first 2 boxes for only £5.95 each. Contents are worth way more than this, probably rrp. about £20+ per box. Then you can cancel after the first 2 boxes.
They do 'teen boxes too, with contents more suited to teenage girls.

AttitcusFinchIsMyFather · 17/11/2015 07:29

Also someone further back in the thread asked for the wallet ninja link

AttitcusFinchIsMyFather · 17/11/2015 07:31

These beer flavoured jelly beans also look like a great stocking filler!

JaquelineHyde · 17/11/2015 07:35

Sorry if it has been shared already...

The M&S beauty advent calendar is out today at £200! However, if you spend £25 on beauty products the calendar is reduced to £25.

Add it all to your basket and the discount comes out at the payment stage.

BaBaBaBoomBoom · 17/11/2015 07:41

I've just read nearly 15 pages of thread, I can't believe how quickly this is moving!

Thank you all so much for your congratulations, the wedding was fantastic, we had a great time, and we got bought lots of things we wanted as gifts, along with a hefty chunk of money! Happy happy happy all round Grin
