Electric scooter recommendations

DS2 wants an electric scooter for xmas he is 9 and my budget is £150. Does anyone's dcs have one and how fast is it ? How often does it need recharging and where did you get it from?

a boy in our cul-de-sac has one and we see him out on it very rarely, just around the cul-de-sac a few times, then it gets put away again. You do know they are illegal on pavements and roads? Where is he expecting to ride it?

At that age, if he's into scooters and for that money, I'd me more tempted to get him a good (and extremely cool) stunt scooter like a MGP MADD. Ds(11) has had his for 3 years and still rides it regularly.
