A tea pot for a 16 yo?

Not strictly Christmas but dd is 16 two days after and she's a real tea Jenny.

Anyone suggest a nice teapot /mug or cup and tea gift set for her?

I've got my eye on a tea forte set but I thought I'd ask for ideas too.

Does she like Disney? My daughter (20) recently bought herself a lovely Minnie Mouse one, will see if I can find a link. It's really pretty and it's a decent size too Smile

Look at Cosmo China.
We have a Sage by Heston tea maker and it's brilliant but expensive, got it half price.

I don't know what your budget is, but PiP Studio make some truly beautiful tea sets. I got mine from John Lewis, but they're sold in quite a few places.

Not necessarily the most pretty but London Pottery Globe teapots are fab. Pour beautifully (which is not a given), several sizes and lots of colours including with spots. I am a tea junkie too and it is my favourite of my teapots (and I have more expensive ones). When I researched teapots they kept coming in highly recommended.

Whittards do some good ones.

Or if she has expensive but whimsical tastes, look for some cornishware.

Another vote for the stump teapot. Gorgeous colours, pours beautifully, so easy to look after.

It will definitely be called a Design Classic in the future.

I see you've seen Suki. My favourite of theirs is Earl Grey Blue Flower. Absolutely delicious and so pretty to look at.

Another good company for mail order teas is The Kent and Sussex Tea Company.

Great idea for a present!

My favourite teapots are the ones with the infusion basket inside for loose tea. So lovely. there are nice japanese ones sold near me like this www.pekoetea.co.uk/teaware/zero-japan-1.html

Thank you for this thread. I want a stump teapot now! I also want my preteen DC to grow up as teenage tea drinkers please.

Just another thought for an additional present. Twinings do a monthly tea club and you can buy membership as a gift.

Does she read a lot?
I would love someone to get me this book/tea/stationary subscription.
Not a tea pot but would make a lovely gift if she is into books too.
