That's it really.
He's not into reading for pleasure so books are out.
Likes music, games, etc
It was so easy when they were little ..... some crayons and a power ranger figure!

I have got my DS a pocket knife which I know he will be thrilled with
gel pens or highlighters
I bought a shower gel and deodorant gift set which I will take out of the box and wrap individually
a space ball
a new set of cards

  • will also do the usual chocolate and tangerine plus a few coins.

I have got mine - two Lynx sets (I know) one with a powerbank (half price Tesco) and one with headphones. Gaming T shirts. James Bond aftershave - he's going to stink!! A Lightstak light. With Star Wars coming out - the Haynes manual millennium falcon - £3 bookpeople. Guiness Book of Records Gamers edition.

What about something like this for his mobile;
www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00Q4NNJGE?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00
IME of teenage boys their phones are always out of charge when they're away from home so can't ring in to let you know they're O.K. so this solves that problem!
Novelty usb stick-mine has an England football one.
New earphones
Posh boxers/socks e.g. Calvin Klein [TK Max are good for those]
Glass tankard for squash/cold drinks [Not so easy to knock over!]
Novelty drinking water bottle
Those little metal/wooden puzzles [Debenhams have a good range]
Bits and pieces for his room, novelty coaster, posters, his own biscuit/sweet tin.
Can't think of anything else at the moment.

I get a few of the James Bond aftershave samples (About a £1 each) to pop in DS1s that way he can't make everything stink for too long compared with a whole bottle Grin

I too have a 13 yr old ds. It's so difficult when they get older, so far all I have bought him is a watch. I have however bought lots for my 8 yr old ds and still keep thinking of more ideas for him. This thread is great!

I think they're called bean boozled? I've got some for my brother

enderwoman · 03/11/2015 18:11

B&M sell American sweets which goes down well with my teens.

Novelty socks, spare headphones are also a must.

LittleMissGreen · 03/11/2015 22:22

I also got some glow in the dark putty in a tin and some glow in the dark shoelaces, an Assassins Creed beanie hat and bracelet to try and make it all a bit less 'boring'. Last year I got him a tiny batman light and a paracord bracelet.
