What threads made your year?

Personally, I found August fun with the Great Offence caused to SWMNBN.

What were the mumsnet highlights for you?

I was agog for developments with TC's friend - something like 'no ejaculations and runs off in the morning'.

Stockingsofdinosaurs · 06/12/2006 21:09

Can't even remember what it was about but it involved Welshboris insisting she was actually Boris Johnson. Was up all night pmsl as it went on.

cupcakes · 06/12/2006 21:11

ucm is that you?

wickedwinterwitch · 06/12/2006 21:11

August? Wasn't that March/April time all the rockets stuff? Secret Dragon was a shocker.

motherinfurrierfestivefrock · 06/12/2006 21:16

I enjoyed Pirate Sex (so to speak)

Mirage · 06/12/2006 21:18

I can't remember the name of the thread, but the 'cube of poo'message still makes me smile, months later.

morningpaper · 06/12/2006 21:20

hmm I missed the cube of poo

Frostythesurfmum · 06/12/2006 21:27

Two totally trivial threads:

Cod's shopping list one - I spent weeks searching shopping trollies for discarded lists and then screeching "I've got one!". DH thought I was bonkers (as did most people in Tesco's car park).

also

The message in a bottle one - sitting here with 8 windows open on the PC - oh ... and again screeching "I've got one!" when a mumsnet one bobbed up.

blondehelen · 06/12/2006 21:29

cube of poo still makes me smile too!!

GameGirly · 06/12/2006 21:32

Anything along the lines of "We are considerably richer than yow".

bctmum · 06/12/2006 21:32

this made me lol

:)

morningpaper · 06/12/2006 21:34

Yes frosty I liked the message in a bottle thing, that was great

And the shopping lists, I still can't go to Sainsbury's without wanting to search the trolleys

I thought the dildo one was great. Especially the little lad who took one to school for show & tell.

NotSoSilentMhamaiNight · 06/12/2006 22:04

For me it has to be the Mumsnet xmas appeal thread.

lulumama · 06/12/2006 22:05

what was narniagate ??

Toothyboy · 06/12/2006 22:07

I'd forgotten cube of poo!! "What's this? Pate?"

expatinscotland · 06/12/2006 22:07

The anal sex thread - duh!

Dampknickers' thread.

Whizzz · 06/12/2006 22:18

As well as the famous UCM one (she's a star!), I also found the 'M&S Wee' thread most amusing

IWhoooooshYouamerryXmas · 06/12/2006 22:27

Def "UCM is that you"-pmsl every time I think of it-she is my hero!

Ellbell · 06/12/2006 22:28

Was the 'macaroon incident' this year? (I know I only read it this year, but I think that was via a link from another thread. Bloody funny, though.)
