Penny Skateboard or similiar?

Hi i am thinking about getting ds 8 a Penny skate board for christmas. I am not sure whether to spend the £80 odd pound on a genuine Penny or get another make which would only be £25 in a half price sale. Has any one got an experience of the cruisers. Thanks

Their stuff arrives with the logo all over the packaging though so beware!

I wouldn't go for an 80 quid board for an eight year old unless you know he's going to love it.
