Looking for a vehicle (car, train, tractor) which is probably battery powered and can go along the floor/carpet inside, not a flimsy wind up or pull back jobby.

Not a remote control one, and not a ride on electric car. Suitable for a 3 year old.

Well the happyland train would go over most surfaces and is battery powered...any good? My four year old still plays with it from last Christmas.

CAT construction toys do. We have the rumbling digger and that has been known to mount the rug! TK maxx is the best place.

Wow toys are friction rather than battery powered but they are really solid, not in the least bit flimsy.
