Did I see a code for the lost my name books or am I imagining it?

ShoopShoop · 01/11/2015 11:03

Thanks for the heads up re: Kidizoom camera in Boots. It was on DD's Amazon wish list and I was tracking the price on Camel Camel Camel. I managed to order the pink one fine. I think it will actually be a present from my DParents to DD so glad to have passed the bargain on Smile Flowers

todayisabeautifulday · 01/11/2015 11:12

MTWTFSS It happened to me too. Log out and select the camera, then log back into your account and all should be well.

For those buying from The White Company with the discount provided above, remember that Zeek has TWC vouchers: pay 40 quid and get 50 instead!

Thanks to both posters for the info, I just made orders with Boots and with TWC and saved quite a bit.

Checking in - been away for a week with crappy Internet and had to resort to real, life shopping.

PinkSquash · 01/11/2015 11:14

Thanks for the Kidizoom deal, that's DS2s main birthday present sorted. Thank you Flowers

todayisabeautifulday · 01/11/2015 11:17

I could also do with a Lost my name book link if anyone has one...

Penguinbeaver · 01/11/2015 11:24

Am so so chuffed so many of you were interested in the kiddizoom camera deal.
Could I be cheeky and add my list my name link for the referral discount?

I'm going to attempt to recreate this costume for one of my kerwhizz kraaazy kids. I already found a cheap pink bike helmet and some cheap speaker microphone to tack on, but the tiny satellite dish has me stumped. Anyone seen any toy models anywhere or can think of a light, non breakable "dish-like" thing I could spray paint to look like a dish?

Thank you notso. I'm not sure he would be able to hold binoculars steadily enough to see anything. We went to a bird sanctuary in the summer and it was a bit tricky with a fixed telescope. hmmm

IHopeYouStepOnALegoPiece · 01/11/2015 11:31

horton the lid of a toy frying pan?

IHopeYouStepOnALegoPiece · 01/11/2015 11:34

Gah!!i ordered from TQT and for reasons unknown, PayPal used my old address rather then my current one but I didn't realise until I opened the order confirmation...I've emailed them but worried it won't be read in time!does anyone know if there's a phone number, I can't find one!

Been away so apologies if already mentioned.
Natural history museum online has 50% off their wildlife photography products - magnets, notecards, bookmarks bags etc and free delivery today with code SPOOKY10.

Badders123 · 01/11/2015 11:49

Who....lots of lego sets have small satellite type dishes in.them perhaps you could look.on e bay? Some sellers sell tiny groups.of lego or even individual.pieces.

1122christy · 01/11/2015 12:00

Saw this on Amazon, not on offer but I think it looks really cool and reviews look good. It's an invisible ink pen with uv light only £2.85 I'm going to get some for my kids stockings. www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B00M95RP1Q/ref=ox_sc_act_image_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A2VULQ8UY6SRIM

Don't know how to do small links sorry Blush

Also just to say the doodlepedia books mentioned above are great we have dinosaur, animals and a boy one and a girl one. There is so much to it, lots of colouring in and spaces to add your own drawings too. Although I'm not sure we paid that much for them. I'm sure they were cheaper.

RJnomaaaaaargh · 01/11/2015 12:03

Horton what about a small aluminium pie dish?

GerrardWinstanley · 01/11/2015 12:06

margaritas DD had this £12 one from being 4yo. It's pretty good quality. DH and DD used to study the moon through it. DH now has a much more expensive one in our loft room. Hmm

bookbook · 01/11/2015 12:15

Horton - the plastic lids from smoothies/iced tea etc that you get from many well known coffee chains?

MakStout · 01/11/2015 12:35

Woohoo, I just got the Playmobil carry along stable I poster about for £15.48 delivered. Got an email from eBay for a tenner off a twenty pound spend so ordered it from the entertainer on eBay. If my local store had stock it would only have been £12.49 with click and collect. I'm thrilled, that and the Playmobil pirate set from JL are probably going to be the kids main presents from me this year, so the bargain nature of them is brilliant.

todayisabeautifulday · 01/11/2015 12:45

Penguin I need to wait half a day or so but I will click on your link! My DC will love the camera.

HortonWho · 01/11/2015 12:55

Thanks so much for the ideas - much appreciated!

peaz · 01/11/2015 12:57

Hi all

Just starting to look at Christmas presents for DS's. They are 7.5 and soon to be 4. Does anyones DS's have the Marvel Titan Heroes? I am thinking of getting one each for them but not sure if they are too young for DS1. Do they actually 'do' anything?

MakStout · 01/11/2015 13:03

Titan heroes are 12inches tall basic action figures. Arms move at the shoulders and legs at the hips. My ds is 6, think he was probably 3 when he got his first one. He has Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk, Wolverine, Star Lord and Ultron. He's also got Spider-Man but I think the Spiderman range may be called something different. But it's the same sort of thing. They get loads of play between Ds and dd who is 4. I'll be getting another for him for Christmas. There is also titan hero tech, they are electronic and talk, ds is desperate for the hulkbuster.

ChillyChillyIcebat · 01/11/2015 13:10

Here is another link to the 15% off for lost my name

ChillyChillyIcebat · 01/11/2015 13:14

also if people were interested in kinetic sand, it's 55% off at the moment on Amazon. This is a good price for the 'kinetic sand' brand.

GinAndSonic · 01/11/2015 13:18

Stupid question... What is kinetic sand?
