It's like sand that sticks together and moves in a really interesting way, it's like a combination of playdoh and sand, my daughter asks to play with it far more than either sand or playdoh.

Thanks for TQ Toys link, I've ordered loads!

LittleMissGreen · 01/11/2015 13:33

Favourite bargain today! Been meaning to get DS2 a personalised Nutella label for ages. Opened my new jar today to find that it has a free label printing service from nutella.com Grin. One label now ordered.

A few threads ago there was an eBay code, can anyone remember what is was and / or how much it was valid for? I've just reasised that I was charged the full amount... Thanks in advance

ipswichwitch · 01/11/2015 13:53

peaz DS1 (4yo) has a couple of the Titan heroes and the Titan tech ones. The Titan tech ones interact and talk to each other- they are great but be prepared for random outbursts of "Captain America has briefed me on the situation" and "Jarvis I need more power!"
He is also desperate for the Hulkbuster (which is hidden away in our loft cupboard, away from anything that might set it off!)

LittleMissGreen · 01/11/2015 13:53

The ebay code was valid that day only for 20% off. I can't remember what it was but just done a search for my posts and it is somewhere on thread 6... posted at Thu Oct 22 16:21:20 BST 2015 if you fancy searching for it!

ipswichwitch · 01/11/2015 14:01

Forgot to add that the Titan hero tech figures are reduced on amazon at the min - Captain America down to £12.99

Quick question re: 'Lost My Name' books. Does anyone have experience of siblings close together in age each having a book?

Kittykatmacbill · 01/11/2015 14:13

I am in Scotland too, and really missing wilkos up here!

Anyway can some reshare the tq toys link pls?

Also has anyone got any good suggestions of Lego sets for a clever 4 1/2 year old? My pair are loads younger and I can't work out what goddaughter is likely to want.(Not friends stuff, I know her mother won't want that!).

TimonAndPumbaa · 01/11/2015 14:32

Thanks reastie for amothe great thread, love the title!

[ahbollocks] I'm Welsh too Grin. I have quite a lot of shops nearby but would love a m&s, poundworld (we have a poundland but not world), a waitrose (because they're always mentioned on mn and I've never set foot in one! Would love to see what the fuss is all about!) And I'd quite like a morrisons too. Grin

isthatmorelego · 01/11/2015 14:32

Sorry not caught up yet but the works had telescopes for kids in this week £8 can't remember who wanted one

bookbook · 01/11/2015 14:33

Kitty - here you go

TimonAndPumbaa · 01/11/2015 14:37

Oops all that chit chat about shops and I forgot to say what I'd meant to! I was just wondering if anyone knows whether boots will have another one of their events where they give £10 on loyalty card for every £50 spent (it used to be £12!). Meant to gwt rhere last week but didn't have chance ao hopong they'll do it again before Christmas.

I'm also wondering if anyone has seen any mlp christmas wrapping paper anywhere?

Oh one thing (sorry) amazon say you have to spend £10 on books or £20 on anything else for free delivery. If I had a £5 book and £5 something else would I get the free delivery or do I have to spend the entire £10 on books?

Sorry for all the questions and thanks in advance for any infoFlowers

FallingGoldfinch · 01/11/2015 14:37

Kitty - I think there's a Wilkos in Livingston and one in Falkirk. None where I am, but we don't even recognise that Waitrose exists up here, so there's no hope really Sad.

Ilikesweetpeas · 01/11/2015 14:57

LittleMissGreen thank you for your help with that. I shall get onto eBay about my missing 20%! Flowers

zipzap · 01/11/2015 14:59

Sorry if I wasn't very clear about the Doodlepedia books.

They're £2.99 in Aldi at the moment, which is a pretty good price for them (not sure if they turn up in the Amazon 4 for £10 ever, they are sometimes on The Book People for £3-4).

However as I didn't have an Aldi link for them (their website's currently playing up if you want to look at details of an individual product), I linked to them on the Amazon site just to show what they were like - Amazon are currently selling them for full price (ie £9) - so definitely don't buy them from there!

AdmiralCLingus · 01/11/2015 15:02

There's two more boots events before Christmas
timon

shouldwestayorshouldwego · 01/11/2015 15:08

Aldi also seem to have their wooden toys in. I can't see in detail on the website but their creative blocks have gone down well here. They are basically Kapla blocks at a fraction of the price.

GinAndSonic · 01/11/2015 15:11

Thanks for the heads up Ipswich, just checked and the hulkbuster is at £24.50 which appears to be the cheapest around atm, unless anyone know better than me?

ChillyChillyIcebat · 01/11/2015 15:18

Kittykatmacbill

At that age I would go for a big box of bricks and let them use their imagination. Tesco had them cheap but are sold out at the moment.

There are also lego juniors that have a lower piece count and are easier to make.

There is also an elves range that is less 'pink' than the friends range.

GinAndSonic · 01/11/2015 15:34

Any doll experts? If I want a doll for dd that she can take in the bath and give water too, and preferably is anatomically correct, what sort do I want? I don't necessarily want it to make noises in fact preferably it will be silent

I8toys · 01/11/2015 15:42

Anyone else having problems with Matalan Click & Collect? Placed a few orders and we get an email saying its in. We go to collect - its not there. I then have to phone customer services in some far away place and they tell me where it is. Then go back and have to persuade the counter staff to go and look for it. Had a refund for something I picked up. Ridiculous

Finlaggan · 01/11/2015 16:01

Just picked up ninja turtles shell raiser van for £17.50 in sainsburys they had a few toys in reduced to clear section hot wheels, marvins Magic set for £8, and a few others.

Mama1980 · 01/11/2015 16:09

Has anyone seen any happy land discounts about please? Specifically I need the london bus and the royal family.
Thanks

LucyTheValiant · 01/11/2015 16:34

Are there any not on the high street vouchers knocking about? At the moment, if you buy anything, you get a 15% voucher for December, but ideally I'd like to buy something before then...
