My DD2 doesn't really express an interest in anything! So I'm a bit stuck, her older sister has had a wooden kitchen, dolls house, pram, dolls, playhouse.... So I'm totally lost on what to get her!

She's 2.5, what are you all getting the 2 & 3 year old girls you buy for? Smile

Micro scooter
Duplo
Jigsaw
Pyjamas
Books
She'll be 2 and 4 months at Christmas.

DD will be 3 just before Christmas. We're getting her a MLP Canterlot Castle; almost 2ft of plastic tat :D but it's the only thing she really wants. She also may end with some Imaginext as well, she plays with DSS' all the time and they do Monsters' University sets which is one of her favourite films at the moment. She'll get one for her birthday, the other for Christmas.

DD is 3 at the end of January. We're expecting DC2 before Christmas so she's getting a doll and dolls' cot "from the baby" that will also be some of her Christmas present from us, topped up with stickers, hairclip, paints, pj's, books etc to unwrap. Probably a wooden train set for her birthday. Have asked for an apron and cooking set from the grandparents for either Christmas or birthday, or money for her ISA. Last year Mothercare vouchers worked really well too - this will likely be the last year she doesn't specifically ask for things, so will make the most of it!

hotsauce - DD got the happyland fairy boot for her 2nd birthday (already had farm and school) and it's been far and away her most played with you all year. However she is just starting to get more interested in toys with articulated limbs or clothes etc, so this year we're getting her the asda dolls house plus various doll/sylvanian/playmobil type bits. She turns 3 in Feb.

Just turned 3 and so far I've got her Disney sticker books from The Book People which I know I'll regret when they're stuck all over the house, pjs, set of jigsaws, play doh and cutters, a game for the mobigo she got last year, a Barbie playhouse thing (Sainsbury's half price) which I thought might be a bit grown up for her but she loved the Barbie car she got for her birthday. Considering a Baby Annabell and will get some dress-ups costumes, her most favourite thing atm. Know other people are getting her a wooden kitchen and dressing up box.

Last year she got the Fisher Price Disney Princess Castle and it was a definite hit. One of the few things she has played with all year.

I've been struggling on this as DD turns 3 next week and then it's christmas so soon! For both events from various people she is getting: a doctors kit, a cinderella dress up dress, duplo creative cakes, a new towel and some bubble bath, the Playmobil sweet store and some sticker books.

slightlyconfused85 · 01/11/2015 17:37

Oh and some gruffalo pyjamas!

Lovelydiscusfish · 01/11/2015 17:55

I'm getting dd (3.5) just various smallish toys, as she's got dolls' house, Peppa house, toy farm, My Little Pony show stable (mine when I was a child!) already, plus trike, balance bike and scooter, so I really don't think she needs, or that our house can fit, anything else big!
Have got her some dolls house bits (this is her favourite thing) and some My Little Ponies (these are her second favourite thing. ) Also a Princess Palace Pet (which I slightly regret, as she's going off them now, and they are a bit shit). And a Moshi Monster which comes with a small play set - she quite likes these, but I mainly bought it because it was £1 in Poundland, which got me really excited! Think that's mainly it. Also a few books (Hairy McClary and Charlie and Lola) and a My Little Pony DVD - she'll bloody love that, she's got about 5 episodes downloaded on my iPad which she is obsessed with, can sing all the songs etc (although I do limit her access to them, obviously, otherwise she'd do nothing else!)

My daughter is two a few days after Christmas, so I have a fairly long list of presents that I'll divvy up between the two days. She's getting a castle - either Melissa and Doug or kidkraft - a singing Elsa, a teaset and some play food. She'll also get some stocking bits - play figures and a wind up torch so far.

ExplodingCarrots · 02/11/2015 17:44

I'm so grateful for this thread!! I've been struggling for ideas for dd who'll be 2.3 at xmas. I've got something to go on now.

She not long had a birthday and she already got loads.

motherofallhangovers · 02/11/2015 18:49

DD's favourite toy at the moment is wooden train track and trains, she loves playing witb it, so we'll get her some extra bits for that.

Also a scooter as she keeps trying to pinch her big brother's!

Millie2013 · 02/11/2015 19:54

DD is having the Asda shop/cafe and some wooden accessories, a shopping trolley, the happyland bus, grandad dog's garage and some frozen stocking fillers

HerdOfRhino · 02/11/2015 22:42
