I was thinking of getting my husband a drawing or painting of DD with Dmutt for xmas. I cant find anyone locally. Has anyone used any of the ones which advertise on Internet ie from a photograph. If so would you recommend

www.margaretscanlan.co.uk

I've had two pastel drawings done by this lady from photographs and she is excellent!

My friend did this for me recently, absolutely love it! We are in Berkshire if that's of any use - PM if u would like her details, I can send u a photo of my painting.

If a pencil drawing would be OK try Zakodia.com

Just realised that site is her anime type stuff. Her other work is under Lisa
Hignett

Highly recommend a lovely lad called Jack Ede. If you email him the picture, he'll give you a quote. I have 2 of his drawings. www.facebook.com/jackedeart/?fref=ts

He was recently featured on a blog of '20 best artists under 20'. uk.complex.com/style/2015/04/the-20-best-artists-under-20-right-now/jack-ede

Just to say i used margaret scanlan as recommended above. The resulting drawing is perfect. She was extremely helpful and responsive from beginning to end. Thank you Whippet2 for the recommendation

Hi wishiwasacollie (I've name changed but it's Whippet2 here). So glad you're pleased with Margaret's work! Smile
