I'm American, not even close to Scottish.

Also, here is a picture of the MLP hoodie I received and it looks nothing like the picture. Some people may be happy with it, but I didn't like the look of mine.

The rainbow isn't even a rainbow and there is a zipper in the middle of her face!

I'm from the NE, but living in the NW...

Kinda wish I was Scottish now!

My Thorntons box has been posted today. No idea of postage times. As has my Amazon voucher. Am excited

RJnomaaaaaargh · 26/10/2015 19:57

Just for comparison, this is dd2s one which I paid about £30 for on Amazon last year. I know, not a bargain but I can hardly get her out of it.

Anyone having issues with the Matalan website?

MakStout · 26/10/2015 20:04

spotty it was in primark on a reduced rail. It's a pretty basic t shirt material, printed all over with slightly faded / muted ponies. I paid about £3 I think.

TobleroneBoo · 26/10/2015 20:04

Thanks those that replied regarding make up brushes. I have the real technique ones myself so I think they should be the ones to go for, just have to remind myself that at 15 my step sister is practically grown up and won't want the cute ones with the rabbits! Grin

PoopPoooDeDooo · 26/10/2015 20:08

I was wondering why there was so many posts since yesterday Confused I thought there was another RobotGate or something but it's just the traditional complainant - it's officially Christmas now we've had it Grin

Thanks for you bucket help on the last thread Glen & Organised Flowers

supermariossister · 26/10/2015 20:14

Thanks for the asda 20% kids clothing heads up just sorted the traditional new pjs for dc for £12.80 :D much appreciated.

For anyone using it the website was horrendous slow and kept crashing then crashed again at paypal, it does catch up with itself.

PjDay · 26/10/2015 20:16

The stream of 'I am Scottish', especially from our lovely non Scottish bargain hunters has really made me smile. You are all the reason why I love this thread Wine Xmas Grin.

Tesco (yes, we have a Tesco too!) had Disney princess costumes down from £16 to £6 but they were ringing through the till at £4!!! I got Belle, sleeping beauty and summer 'Anna'.

Thanks for the bookpeople 20%off heads up. It stacked with the free delivery over £15 so a great deal.

PinkSquash · 26/10/2015 20:18

Thanks for the new thread Reastie!

Scottish MNers- where's lovely to visit and on a rail line? Grin

I'm the completely opposite side of the country to practically everyone. It's lonely Wink

y0rkier0se · 26/10/2015 20:23

Another not-scot, but we do have some good bargain shops in Yorkshire! Has anyone posted £50 off £100 spend at Laradoute with code 4815? Works on sale stuff too so some bargains to be had.

PjDay · 26/10/2015 20:25

Does anyone know how many meters of gift wrap are in these packs?

Pink, Edinburgh is lovely with North Berwick 40min away on the train and beautiful. I am a west coaster, its gorgeous too. Come visit Burns country, I will show you all the best bargain hunting haunts! Wink

chandelierswinger · 26/10/2015 20:28

Pink, I'm darn saaarf along the seaside... Can it wave to you?

Thanks for the MLP link again... I'd avoided it, then clicked on it as a PP had done and now I have one winging its way to me!!!

20% off at Book People, ends tonight at midnight, with SPOOKY20

chandelierswinger · 26/10/2015 20:32

Doh! Really should read further up the thread... Sorry for the duplicate Book People post Blush

HairOfMooseyMoo · 26/10/2015 20:33

I'm 1/4 Scottish. The phrase I can say with a vaguely passable Scottish accent is ... You've dropped your rock. Thank you Braveheart.

This is my new Halloween nn

TimonAndPumbaa · 26/10/2015 20:37

Ah I thought it was you side Grin.

SpottyTheDog, I've had loads of mlp clothes from asda. Just recently bought dd a top in their sale, £4 down from £8. I've had stuff from h&m too. Oh and a previous poster linked to a lovely mlp christmas jumper from asda.

I will get my DD2's rainbow dash hoody out of her wardrobe tomorrow and take a picture as hers looks nothing like that!! How much did you pay? I've only paid £6

LittleMissGreen · 26/10/2015 20:44

I'm married to a Scot

FeelingSmurfy · 26/10/2015 20:45

My local b&m had loads of star wars talking plush toys £25 with RRP of £39.99 - look good, decent size and boxed. Can see them being popular with the new movie coming out

nickdrakeslovechild · 26/10/2015 20:48

MrsBungle you must live near me!!! The B&M is in the old Tescos yes? It's massive.

FeelingSmurfy · 26/10/2015 20:49

Can anyone find this under £25?

Someone kindly found it for £20 but I have had people checking local b&m stores and none have them in stock and can't/won't order one
