I got the Boots No7 one last year (£35) and no, it wasn't TBH.
If you have nothing in the way of make-up, then the single shadows (very neutral colours) the eyeliners and the small mascaras are a good starting point (I gave them to my DD but she already has her own make-up collection)
I ended up putting them into a Charity shop (they were unused)
I liked the skincare but I'd get better value from one of their skincare sets.
Couple of brushes which are handy.
And 2 of the sections were empty
. I waited till it was finished then completely dismantled it to see if they'd gone down the back, they hadn't.
(One of the empties was the daycream)
Benefit looked good in the past but they had a few non-beauty things (hairgrips, necklaces, bracelets) that I wouldn't have chosen. And I can buy the trial sizes in Boots anyway.
IIRC Benefits has only 12 sections this year.
I like the look of the Bodyshop one but would only use 60%.
This year, I'm doing little gift bags for DD (stocking up on 3for2 makeup) - nail polish, eyepencils type make-up, hairbands, sachets of facepack.
(DS can have money in his Advent, he's 16)
