My family are big gift givers. Despite being a grown woman in my mid twenties with a good job and no need for anything- my grandparents and my parents still treat me like I am a child (despite my protests) and spoil me rotten. As a result, I usually did lots of over time in my student job to treat them too Smile

I have moved house recently and due to paying a hefty deposit, I haven't put much towards Christmas this year and can't afford to spend what I would usually.

I want to spend about £40 each. I need to buy for my mum (in her 40s, glamorous!), my dad (40s, trendy, likes learning languages) and my grandmothers (1 more glam-ma than grandma, 1 older and more cosy slippers and readers digest).

Does anyone have any suggestions? All of my suggestions are out of my budget, or not special enough.

I want to start making my list!

Next have beautiful faux fur scarves and cossack hats. You can buy both for less than £40. There may even be enough change for a lipstick! All these presented in a gift box would make a luxurious present for your mum!

perfume for mum and glam gran?
TK Maxx have some from designer perfume brands such as L'Artisan Parfumeur, as well as the usual brands. If you know a scent they like, you could look on fragrantica to see what else they might enjoy.

White Company do some very stylish gifts. How about some cashmere bed socks, gift boxed, some of their loungewear, a robe or some beautiful monogrammed bedlinen? I'm sure I read there is a WC saving code on one of the Christmas bargain threads.

I bought myself a Ciate geltox gel nail starter set in tkmaxx yesterday for £30 rrp £100. Your mum is not much older than me, so possibly something she might like.

Agree with the White Company suggestion. They have gorgeous Christmas decorations - one of those wrapped up in a lovely box would make a present that could be brought out every Christmas for forever.

Or cashmere wristwarmers - M&S usually do nice ones. Or they also have leather gloves for less than £20.

Jo Malone candles are around £40 and come beautifully gift wrapped with ribbon in a box with matches as well.
