I think ELC have one.

twig - my MIL has bought one for my DD for Christmas. Apparently it has beads to braid the hair. But it is OK because I can do it with her.

Maybe she doesn't realise but it takes me all my time to chase DD round in the morning getting rid of her bed head and negotiating over which clip she will wear that day. Although at least the doll will keep still.

Are you talking about girl?s world?? There are various versions out there. Barbie does a couple - the Pegasus head is nice (not the horse version!! Make up on a horse?!!!) Range from about a tenner to about £30 depending on the make. Get a solid one with reasonable hair! I bought a cheap light one and it falls over a lot when they brush it. Bought a sturdy proper Girls world and much better than non branded cheapo one.
Also, often the make up supplied doesn?t show up very well. Worth buying a little set of lurid sparkly stuff that will show up better - oh and a pack of wet wipes to wipe it all off!!!

wrappingpaperBOwZZAndribbons · 05/12/2006 10:03

ELC one here

This one is called a styling head but when I had one (aged about 8) I think it was a Girl's World.

FrumpytheGrumpyreindeer · 05/12/2006 10:10

I got a good one from Argos, £24.99. You can do the hair and make up. Some of them only do hair.

Its called My Model by Zapf Creation.

I'm sounding like an advert

boomie · 05/12/2006 14:54

The Disney Store do a Disney Princess one - think it's Cinderella

Azure · 05/12/2006 15:11

Here's one on offer Barbie Head

Azure · 05/12/2006 15:14

If you click on the Styling Heads link there are a whole lot of them as well. All those dismembered heads look a little spooky really.

SpookyMadMerryChristmasMummy · 06/12/2006 16:13

no can do - its not on there hun... If you mail me I will send a pic and description X

hovely · 06/12/2006 16:58

I got a Zapf one from Wilkinsons yesterday for 6.99.
it is probably light weight (ie will fall over as earlier poster said) but apart from being a very acceptable price, it has opening/closing eyes and hardly any make-up already on, so DD can daub away to her heart's content.

Most of the other sets come with more hair accessories, but with full make-up already on the eyes and lips, which apparently makes it hard to put more on.

I can't see it on the website, got it in the Stratford, E London store.

MerryBiglipsmas · 06/12/2006 19:54

i do rather like the ones where you can apply the makeup on too

Spooky - its [email protected]

thanks

If you have an older child I bought mine one from a hairdressing wholesalers. It is brilliant as used by hairdressers and has real hair!
