does anywhere sell cheap paper advent calendars?

They're usually a fiver in waterstones or wh smiths but I desperately want to cut back this year.

Do cheap paper advent even exist ? (I won't use amazon by the way).

I'd love a paper one that isn't either a religious scene or a very modern-looking cartoon. Something twee and old-fashioned would be perfect. Anyone spotted one?

They are card style, so smaller than the A4 calendars, but still traditional paper advent calendars.

I saw a lot of this style of advent calendar at a Wyevale Garden Centre yesterday. Not cheap though, even the smaller sized ones were about £3 and the larger ones about £5. We used to have these when I w'kid, and reused them from year to year so if you are prepared to do that it would bring the cost per use down Chocolate ones are shockingly cheaper than the paper/picture version though. I'm still eyeing the Lindt advent calendar as well though!
