'Big' but small present for 10 year old DS

I have lots of ideas for stocking fillers but really struggling this year to find a 'big' present for DS (age 10). One of the problems is that it can't be anything too big, we have recently moved from house with garden to a small flat, so space is limited. He already has more Lego than we can fit in his room, so that is out. For smaller things, last year he got a Kindle fire so not a tablet, and I don't want to buy him Xbox type things (I know some may disagree but I won't be buying one). Only thoughts so far are a new laptop, which is mainly used for school stuff but would be very expensive, or a camera. Anyone any ideas?

If he already has a tablet then maybe a laptop isn't sufficiently different as the main benefit would be to do schoolwork etc? I don't use a tablet so I may be wrong on that score. Are gaming type things completely out? Was thinking something like a PSVita but I guess that would be similar to a tablet too except you can get better games than just apps.

Does he need something for outdoors? A decent scooter wouldn't take up too much room compared to a bike.

What is he interested in?

My DS really wants a leather jacket,
What about vouchers/tickets to do something he'd really like - Harry Potter sudio, band, football etc.

As myother said what is he into?

Ipod/mp3 player and/or CD player? For about £30 you can get a cd player with docking station.

What about a Raspberry Pi?

What about vouchers - cinema, bowling etc? Things you might do anyway but he can plan and look forward to them.
Magazine sub?

Pleased share your stocking filler ideas! I will have a 9 yr old ds by then. Birthday is also December so I struggle too.
This year my boys are getting a holiday surprise as their main present!
I'm going to have the tickets dangling from the string of a helium balloon! You could do the same with tickets to a theme park or an experience day.
A camera is also a lovely idea. For extras you can add a nice case, a better memory card and he will have all of the Christmas holidays to play about with it and make some nice photos. You could also buy him an album to put his photos in.

A camera is a lovely idea. You could also book him on a children's photography course in the new year if you have any nearby.

I have put on my DS11 list, a plasma ball, Swatch watch, Schleich animals. I've already ordered him a wash bag (for sleepovers/holidays) and a T shirt from Tottenham FC, which he supports.
I bought him a disco ball last year and he loves it, Ikea do one that attaches to your mail ceiling light, so wouldn't take up any space.

A weekend away to a theme park or a water park he would love? Including dinner at his favourite restaurant etc.

Alton Towers has a hotel for example.

Or maybe a trio to the Harry Potter studio? Just puck somewhere you don't live near to make the trip part of his present, somewhere he wouldn't get to go to otherwise.
