Games to play with family

My ds has asked if we could play some games st Christmas, not board games. This has thrown me into a state of panic. What do other people play? Do you plan/organise them all? There is charades which we have played but does anyone do anything more exciting? Our age range is 5 yr, 2 teens, 2 young adults a few adults and a 90 year old so looking for something as inclusive as possible.

One of our Christmas traditions is that we all play Bingo after dinner , one of my sisters organises and she buys the prizes ,generally one or two for specific people then generic man / woman , then scratch cards for a line / 2 lines . It's the only time the Bingo set comes out and none of us play proper bingo so it is quite entertaining and was also family friendly when our family included young children .

I have bought from M&S a guess who game - where you wear a name on your head and have to guess who! You could use post it notes but the kit -£5 has little headbands and labels.

We will probably do this after the main course to allow us time before pudding!

Watching with interest

The name bowl game is always a winner.

Everyone writes 3 or 4 names of people you know/celebrities on small bits of paper and puts them in the bowl. You make 2 teams and the aim is to guess the most. So you have turns of 30secs in 3 rounds. A round lasts until all names are out of the bowl.
1st round - the picker-outer describes the name on the paper until guessed.
2nd round - The picker-outer gives a one word clue of the name.
3rd Round - The picker-outer acts the name.

If that makes vague sense it's fun honestly!
