What festive drinks will you be enjoying this year?
Alcoholic tipples, non-alcoholic favourites, coffee shop special editions...

Starbucks have emailed me today to tell me that the Hot Mulled Fruit drink is coming back this year. I did like that! Also looking forward to their gingerbread latte and, hopefully, the orange mocha. Costa black forest hot chocolate will hopefully be returning, too.

I'd say you'd keep it like open fresh cream, 2 or 4 days I think, might help if there's alcohol in it though but still. It wouldn't last very long in my house it's morish.

Costa Coffee has gingerbread latte all year round, so I have it there any time. Hot chocolate is drank (drunk?) in copious amounts.

I don't like eggnog. I have never been able to enjoy it.

I am looking forward to Costa's seasonal drinks. Alcohol is just wine or lager in our house. We used to try to keep on hand different types of alcohol that different family or friends liked, but we'd end up drinking it. Blush So that's a thing of the past.

Well you can have gingerbread lattes all year but how's that special?
Also always have red with turkey. White with starter which is always smoked salmon.

Also looking for some non alcoholic cocktails for my df who has had to give up drinking because of heart failure. Christmas will be hardest. I like the idea of cranberry fizz. Might give that a go. Any others.

It's gorgeous Roz - really quite sweet, but warming and thick and lovely. We use this recipe from the BBC Good Food website.
