Playmobil Camper Van hunters

I have one reserved at the Fleet Argos store for collection tomorrow but have decided not to go for it. If anyone would like it and can get to Fleet, PM me and I'll forward you the reservation number. It's £19.99.

nickdrakeslovechild · 16/10/2015 20:47

Not a bargain, but the entertainer in-store has masha and the bear dolls. My nearly 4YO is obsessed with Masha and its the first doll we have ever seen! A small one was only £5 and a large one was £15.

Went to the card factory to see the elf as posted up thread and they are really gorgeous. They also some lovely box of 20 cards for .99p

Primark was fully Christmassy and had lovely Christmas t shirts for kids for only £2. Then went to Lush and came out £20 lighter but we will ignore that!

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 16/10/2015 20:50

Oh that's rubbish Chipper, wonder if they know who's trying to use it.

LalaDipsey · 16/10/2015 21:09

Playmobil again! Childrens pool with whale fountain sudden drop to £15.09 (absolute bargain) and the City Life Playground (the new one) down to £23.90 which is a good price too, only slightly over lowest price ever. On Amazon of course!

DilysMoon · 16/10/2015 21:19

Hi all checking in thanks for the bargains so far, I am quite far behind though eek. My thread baby from last year will be 1 in a few weeks can't believe it!

Am just wondering if anyone knows where have all the onesies with feet gone?? My older 2 love a soft furry onesie with feet and hood but haven't been able to lay my hands on any this year, age 8 and 11. If anyone sees any could you shout out thanks!

waitrosefizz · 16/10/2015 21:21

Camper van now gone to a good home Smile

mrslebon · 16/10/2015 21:26

Thanks for the Hotel Chocolat Tasting Club link. Quidco are doing £5 cashback but sadly it takes you to the wrong link. I copied an pasted in the £9.95 link but not convinced that worked.

Loads of unicorn stuff here: ohhdeer.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=unicorn

BadgerFace · 16/10/2015 21:30

Good to Lala I was after the playmobil children's pool but it seems to have gone up to £19 already!! which is still lower than I'd been tracking it at. Do I go for it anyway...?! DD's birthday is 6 Jan so I don't know if it's better to wait for the January sales...

IHopeYouStepOnALegoPiece · 16/10/2015 21:30

A huge thank you to those who used my LostMyName link, the alphabet book is lovely!

BadgerFace · 16/10/2015 21:35

Ignore my last post, I was looking at the wrong playmobil on the wish list, pool purchased at £15, bargain! Thanks Lala!!

ChipperNipper · 16/10/2015 21:59

I think they must do girl, I even logged it out and tried it but no luck. It was worth a try though.

Not strictly bargain hunting but if any of you have any My Little Pony fans, what is their most wanted MLP toy? I'm overwhemed by the vast array of ponys and have nonidea which type is best/most wanted

Methenyouplus4 · 16/10/2015 21:59

m.houseoffraser.co.uk/Star+Wars+Sport+digital+watch/218806771,default,pd.html

Just posted in wrong thread! Doh!

Anyway, total bargain Star Wars watches, £2.50 from HoF, had others like marvel superhero, frozen, Disney Princess etc.

A few other good bargains worth a look in their toy sale.

wigglesrock · 16/10/2015 22:02

chipper it's all about Apple Jack here, definitely not Rarity or Twilight Sparkle - they're waaaaay down the list Grin

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 16/10/2015 22:06

Just twitched Lala after my campervan disappointment, pool purchased!

RJnomaaaaaargh · 16/10/2015 22:06

Rainbow dash over here. Although I love applejack. Dd2 does not agree. Give me a budget chipper and I will suggest a toy?

Theirnotallbastards · 16/10/2015 22:12

Rainbow dash here to debating the power ponies on offer at Argos..

TimonAndPumbaa · 16/10/2015 22:17

Chipper, my dc are MASSIVE my little pony fans! I think the mane (get it? hehe) thing to find out is which ponies if any they already have. If they don't have any yet I'd go for the main six who are Rainbow Dash, Apple Jack, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy and Twilight. I think they're on offer in asda at the moment (£3.50 iirc). Another option is Equestria Girls who are the human versions of the ponies. Again I'd go for the main six characters first. There are three equestria girls films, if you go for the dolls from the older films you'll probably get them a bit cheaper. The newest film is Friendship Games and the dolls from that film seem to be a little dearer.

Another option might be a mlp busy book. Asda and tesco sell them. They're only £5 and you get 12 pony figures, a playmat with various scenes and the book itself. Really good value imo. Both my dds have it and love it.

The mlp magazines are £3.99 (I think, somewhere around that mark anyway) amd they sometimes have really really decent gifts with the mag. This month is a limited edition nightmare moon figure. I bought the dds one to go in their stocking but then realised it was a special halloween mag so ill keep that for halloween instead but it's definitely worth keeping an eye on what toys come free with the magazine each month.

Another option could be one of the equestria girls films on dvd. I saw them in primark last year for about £5, I'm sure I saw them on amazon for the same price. Although the newest film would be more expensive, I think it's around £10. My dd's favourite is the second film, rainbow rocks.

Anyway, I have rambled on just a little too much about mlp and have just realised that I really need to get a life! Xmas Grin

Elvish · 16/10/2015 22:17

Twilight Sparkle all the way here!

We're not helping as we?!

My DD has one from build a bear which she loves and I think was quite good value for the size of it...

d270r0 · 16/10/2015 22:17

Thanks very much for the heads up about the £6.95 hotel chocolat tasting club selections. I did some searching on the internet and finally found a link to get them for £6.95 with free delivery- then ordered the classic selection and the fortified selection! Both for my husband of course...
Heres the link: www.hotelchocolat.com/uk/tasting-club/join/0593?mobile_override=1
You need to remember to cancel it after you get your box or they automatically send you another one (have been caught out that way before.)

ColeslawSandwich · 16/10/2015 22:22

d27 what a great price but it would be just for me, so think I might have to resist.

Chips why was your MB order not fulfilled? I received one of mine today, he baubles are very small. Too small for a teachers gift IMO.

ChipperNipper · 16/10/2015 22:24

Budget is roughly £20 - £25.

But that doesn't have to be all MLP toys iyswim.

I really appreciate all the help. Do different ponies do different things? What are the power ponies? I was looking today and saw something like 'water cutie mark ponies'. Are they different from the regular ponies.

RJnomaaaaaargh · 16/10/2015 22:28

Do they have mop already?

Granny Smiths barn is down to £15 in asda. Dd2 covets that.

Twilight sparkles carraige £12 on Amazon.

The equestrian girls stage is about £20now with a doll.

mrslebon · 16/10/2015 22:30

Oh well done @d270r0 - I've ordered another box with a different email addresses! That's another two Xmas pressies sorted. I'll keep the Salted Caramel Puddles for myself!

Also, while we're on food, M&S have got their Christmas choc biscuits selections (milk, dark and white, plus milk choc selection) on half price at the moment (£3) so I've stocked up.

YaMasYaDaWithAWigOn · 16/10/2015 22:32

The Power Ponies are super hero themed ponies from a particular episode of the normal series (not film related).
