Seeing as its from Jersey

Reastie · 14/10/2015 19:24

Wiggles glad you got all the essential can't live without IKEA purchases Grin . I'm hoping to go tomorrow now and am aiming for a similarly impressive haul.

Shash I can't remember when IKEA goat became a 'thing' but I now feel it's as synonomous (can't spell) with mn and Christmas as pampas grass and swingers.

Itsonly thanks for that, it's perfect cracker size.

I think the goat was two years ago as it wasn't the year I had ds as I didn't go to ikea that year and I wasn't on the bargain thread before I had him.

My Lost My Name books arrived today. Only ordered Sunday. I know some people asked for feedback on The Journey Home which is there new one so here goes....

So happy with The Journey Home. Lengthy story, loads of references to DD's name and a double page satellite image of our village and house at the end. Lovely images of the solar system and the character I chose looks a lot like my DD!

The last line about her being the most loved little girl in all the universe made me quite emotional!

DS's Lost My Name book is mega cute and I'm really happy with that one too.

JessesGirl · 14/10/2015 19:43

I've booked my Morrisons Christmas delivery slot which made me panic slightly about how little time I've got left... Then I remembered that we haven't even had Halloween yet and I began to breathe again Wink

canto3 · 14/10/2015 19:50

Thank you so much to those 3 MNetters who used my Lost My Name link Grin

rosieliveson1 · 14/10/2015 19:56

Thank you for the verbaudet code. Got three things for less than the original price of 1 of the items Smile

FireflyGirl · 14/10/2015 20:10

Yup, the goat was 2 years ago. I got one for my sister, and mentioned it last year (and made a thread title - proud Grin) as she decorates it for every season now. She was looking for one for me last year but they'd changed and were quite expensive.

We're going to Christmas IKEA a week on Friday. I'm like a little kid Grin (wonder if we can just leave 7 month old DS at home so there's more room for IKEA lovelies...)

LucyTheValiant · 14/10/2015 20:11

I was in the works today and they had lots of lovely adult colouring books for about £4 and nice colouring pens too. If you do free click and collect you also get 10% off your next shop apparently.

ipswichwitch · 14/10/2015 20:12

Body Shop have £25 off a £50 spend with code 14665. They also have an advent calendar for £60 - the products are worth £93.50, so if you used the £25 off code you'd get it for £35. Ok so it's not exactly cheap, but a bargain of you are a Body Shop fan and use all those products anyway.

IconicTonic · 14/10/2015 20:23

In The Works today they had hobby horses which play a tune when you press the ear. A horse or unicorn (in case we need any more unicorns) was £5 and makes a clip clop neigh sound or a reindeer ( which my ds picked as a gift for 3yo dd) which plays Rudolph the red nosed reindeer was £6 and looks lovely.

They also had chocolate advent calendars for £1 including a Disney frozen one.

margaritasbythesea · 14/10/2015 20:23

Can anyone remember the Verbaudet code? I have looked and can't find it. I have a sudden urgent desire to use it!

rosieliveson1 · 14/10/2015 20:29

I used 4739 on verbaudet - opened a new account in DH name to use it as is for new customers.

margaritasbythesea · 14/10/2015 20:37

Doh! It's on the website...

PamelaEwing · 14/10/2015 20:39

picked up my MB order from the shop tonight and their store cupboard was jam packed with parcels Grin The lovely assistant said they were inundated with online orders. The baubles are lovely in their gift boxes and perfect for teacher gifts :) tempted to do another order now...hope everyone gets theirs OK in the end.

Girl with the yellow hat the Playmobil camper van is lovely but does have small bits (camping cutlery etc.) as do all Playmobil sets. We found Playmobil to be the perfect follow on from Happyland :)

LBOCS2 · 14/10/2015 21:05

Thank you Backinschool, that was me - I'll have a look at this!

Vintage1980 · 14/10/2015 21:06

Has anyone used the feel unique code for multiple orders? Not strictly Christmas but I'd be happy with £10 each time off my usual Clinique stuff if you can.

PjDay · 14/10/2015 21:09

Thank you Arockandrollnerd those bags are perfect stocking fillers.

That's DMum and Mil sorted.

margaritasbythesea · 14/10/2015 21:13

but thank you rosie!

ja9r · 14/10/2015 21:19

thank you for the feel unique code - dh had asked for anything kiehls for xmas and paying that much for skincare makes my eyes smart! however, i can't get the code to work - is it working for everyone else?

mrslebon · 14/10/2015 21:30

Yes, the Feel Unique code worked fine for me. I spent just over £30, selected my free samples, and then popped the code in the box. Are you getting an error message?

ja9r · 14/10/2015 21:40

It says the code has been applied to the qualifying items and states that the code is £10 off£25 but doesn't take any money off. I've read all the items it doesn't apply to but it doesn't mention Kiehls...

Sockattack · 14/10/2015 21:43

Annoyed. I ordered an anorak with the boden 40% sale discount and they didn't notify me to say can't fulfil til I've just chased as still showing as processing.

Can any one tell me what the other boys coats discounts were as I want to get a coat still and I'm going to ask them to honour previous prices!

mrslebon · 14/10/2015 21:51

@Sockattack - I ordered the fleece-lined anorak in size 4 - 5 and it was £19.20 with the sale price + extra 20% off code.

@ja9r - I've noticed that in the past, codes can be a bit funny on Feel Unique. If you add the code to your basket and then continue shopping, or change/add items, it can assume that you've already used the code and not deduct the amount. Last time that happened to me, I ended up setting up another account using my work email address and then added all my items, and the code last of all, clicking straight through to pay. It worked fine then. Having said that, I didn't have any problems this time, although I knew exactly what I wanted and just went straight to checkout.

mrslebon · 14/10/2015 21:52

P.S. I think it was a 30% discount to begin with @sockattack
