I have been searching all over for nice cosy blankets for my two dds - I came across this website - which has some nice/different present ideas (cute earmuffs, mittens etc). Here is a link to the clearance page - which has some good deals.

These are the blankets I ordered

Not strictly Christmas, but Tassimo have free delivery until 19th Oct with code OCTFREUK. Their Twining breakfast tea pods on offer @ £3.19, and you can get twice as many Suchard hot chocolates pods (175ml) compared to Cadbury(265ml), for similar price. Haven't spotted Suchard pods selling any where else on line so maybe worth stocking up.

Has anyone seen any cheap ish Twirlywoos toys on their travels? DD2 loves them but they are so expensive!

backinschool · 14/10/2015 14:35

Was someone looking for My Little Pony Cutie Mark Magic - Canterlot Castle Playset? I've just seen on facebook that it's in the asda sale here for £60 - my DDs aren't into mlp yet so no idea if that's a good price but thought I'd stick it on here in case it's useful.

We've had the playmobil campervan since dd1 was 4.5 and both girls play with it a lot. It gets used together with Dora's campervan and Mickeys plane and their little princesses so not just as playmobil. It's a good starter set but quite fiddly. I got my girls (6 and 3) the fairy island and small pirate ship this year and they are played with constantly (lots of Peter Pan type stories or the pirates come to visit etc). I think all the playmobil sets are pretty good - just go with whatever your DC are into or what's cheap. Mine are getting the playground, penguins and a pony show for Xmas just because I have found them all heavily reduced. The playground looks really good and was £15 in sainsbury.

Dh has just been pondering on getting a unicycle... Have told him to ponder a while longer as I reckon it could be a great christmas present for him Grin.

So, if anybody sees any good deals on unicycles, please shout! Doesn't have to be a fancy one, can't see that it will get loads of use, but could be fun to try. Ooh and any bargains on elbow & knee and everywhere else pads too!

Cheers

zipzap · 14/10/2015 14:47

There's a one day flash sale on the book people at the moment including lots of collections :
Harry Potter £25
Mr Men 50 book set £25
hardback Alice in Wonderland 150th birthday anniversary box set £8 Would be a nice christening present / gift for baby who has this year as their birthday

and loads more, books as well as collections... plus their codes usually stack so worth trying, and they can be found on some of the cashback sites.

ColeslawSandwich · 14/10/2015 14:57

zipzap I'll look out for cheap medical insurance for your dh too Xmas Grin

TobleroneBoo · 14/10/2015 15:10

Flowers Thanks for the feel unique code - Just purchased DSIL's gift!

QwertyBird · 14/10/2015 15:51

Thank you for the feel unique code! Although I treated myself to new mascara rather than Xmas presents!! Blush

NicoleWatterson · 14/10/2015 15:54

hangingbasket asda had some reduced twirlywoos in their sale when I looked last night.

The aroma earmuffs are brilliant, I have a pair and can't recommend them enough

DeloresDeSyn · 14/10/2015 16:15

Thank to the person who answered my toot toot question, I've taken the plunge and bought the racing ramp, I think I'll wait to see what Argos offers come up before I get more.

this wooden stuff from Amazon is great, I ordered a train for £2.82, but it's gone back up to £18 or something now, loads of other bits reduced hugely though. The train is brilliant, really sturdy and bigger than I thought, I caved and gave it straight to DS Blush, he hasn't let go of it all day!

Hangingbasket14 · 14/10/2015 16:19

Nicole, thank you, you have just save me £6 on the one I was going to buy today!

Justasmallgless · 14/10/2015 16:28

Can someone please repost the Feel Unique code? I can't see it ( needs new glasses emoticon)

Justyou · 14/10/2015 16:31

I can't get the feel unique code to work ?

custardcreamdreams · 14/10/2015 16:39

For younger ones Fisher Price princess palace is down to £40 from £55 at toy r us www.toysrus.co.uk/toys/fisher-price-little-people-disney-princess-palace/0099136 I paid £60 for it last Christmas - saying that dd has definitely got the use out of it, still plays with it.

QwertyBird · 14/10/2015 16:40

10MSE25 was the code for feel unique - if you spend £30 plus, don't forget to add free samples before you put the code in

Justasmallgless · 14/10/2015 16:41

Thanks Qwertybird

eastmidswarwicknightnanny · 14/10/2015 17:32

Delore I won't buy any big toot toot set unless half price or less ds2 is 10mths and has parking tower then for bday I have stashed the airport n garage n for Xmas the construction tower n some track all brought on offer. I did buy 3 vehicles on 3 for 2 from boots so £14 for 3 although Amazon have some vehicle sets for around £14 but we have odd ones out those.

I have also ordered the hospital toot toot friends was half price on Amazon will hold that back a while I think but I do present stash when good deals

woodwaj · 14/10/2015 17:36

My toot toot Hospital came today a bargain at £15 I think!

I've just had an email from Morrisons 2 for £5 on swizzle or haribo sweet tubs (or 4.97 each!)

LeBoob · 14/10/2015 17:45

Bought some of the canvas disney bags from pound land today! They are actually really nice quality! Would be lovely with one of the activity packs in and colours!

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 14/10/2015 18:21

Thanks for the replies, I should have asked what I can expect to pay, camelcamelcamel says lowest was £23 but I think I remember seeing people talking about it cheaper!

And thanks penguin we had that episode on our old box, I was hoping they'd show it again so I could tape it!!

mrslebon · 14/10/2015 18:29

Can someone clarify if the Feel Unique thing is £10 off a £25 spend or a £30 spend? It said £25 further up the thread so just wondering what else to sling in my basket.

Bizzledizzle · 14/10/2015 18:39

Thank you for the feel unique code. I ran out of make up this morning and couldn't really afford the £30 price tag that comes with my foundation. £20 is a lot easier to swallow!!!

mrslebon · 14/10/2015 18:44

Ah, just found out that it's a £25 spend, but of course you get the free samples if you spend £30+ (which I inevitably did).

I thought this looked like a good Christmas pressie for a sister, best friend etc.. as the REN facial product on its own is worth £32:

www.feelunique.com/p/Radiant-Skin-Beauty-Box

Don't forget 8% cashback on Quidco too! And thanks again to the OP for posting the code.
