Can anyone help me find these paper angels, please?

I used to love little press-out angels my mum would get at Christmas, made of thin card in a postcard-sized piece (possibly two or three to a sheet).

This ebay seller is selling some really creased old ones - and they are just as I remember!

Here

The 1980s thing surprises me, though - I remember them in the 1970s, I think, and - crucially - as possibly coming from Germany.

Anyone got any ideas, please?

My DD has had this book in the past. They are not exactly the same as the angels you are looking for, but could be close enough

I remember them, exactly the ones you linked to. For some reason I seem to remember my parents got them through some charity thing? They would get sent a calendar, some Christmas cards and the Angels and then would send money to a charity for them.

That book is ace!
We got it last year and DD made paper chains with the angels hanging from them.
I'm sure there is enough left for this year, there seemed to be lots in it.

Re the Usbourne book - buy from the Book people as its cheaper

TheLowKing · 12/10/2015 19:09

Thank you, everyone! I shall definitely be getting the Francesca Crespi book, and maybe the Usborne one too!

And MuddlePuddle you are RIGHT - it WAS a charity thing; I'd forgotten! I wonder which charity it was...

Hmmm. Doesn't ring a bell. How weird that I finally found someone who remembers them, though. Yay! Grin
