Can't think of a Main Present for my 4 year old daughter

Her birthday is six days before Christmas and she is getting a bike

Ive so far got her for Christmas a globe and a poster. Thats it. I need a "main" present really.

She is quite girly, which has taken me by surprise as I am not. She has a play kitchen and a smattering of Playmobil and Lego (no interest in the Lego yet).

Help!!

Dolls' house? My dd is 3.5, and this is probably the thing she loves with the most. She also loves My Little Pony stuff.

I decorated her one last year. She does love it!

My Little Pony stuff sounds good!

She started with my vintage My Little Ponies and Show Stable from when I was little, but has since got really in to them in her own right, so has added to the collection, largely with charity shop finds etc. Amazing the stuff you can get - for example she's got a battery operated train for the ponies to ride in which goes round on its own track.
I wasn't too keen on the new look ponies at first, as they are a lot stranger looking (to my mind) than the ponies of yore. But it's amazing what one can become accustomed to!

DD will be 4 next week. She's getting a CD player and some CDs (Charlie and Lola, fairy tales). She and her older brother will be getting new bikes for Christmas.

Last year when DD was 4, the presents that have been played with the most are: hula hoop, space hopper, Crayola Twistables pack and Disney Draughts game.

Board games maybe? Kid friendly tablet?

My four yr old DD loves the fur real animals, build a bear, baby annabell, dress up, melamine tea set (Emma Bridgewater pink hearts from her aunty last xmas and is so lovely, played with lots).

For this Christmas at 4.5yrs she is getting blu blu the dolphin, Anna Disney toddler doll, playmobil vet clinic, Equestria girl dolls and more my little pony's, kinetic sand and some other bits n bobs.

Maybe some more playmobil if she likes it. Bu you don't have to get a 'big' main present, lots of smaller stuff is just as fun. Books, board games, jigsaws, dress up stuff, a giant box full of craft stuff, dvd, dolls, barbies etc., if she has a dolls house more dolls or accessories for inside it, sylvanians. It all adds up!

Does she have a dr's kit? One of the most played with things on this house. Maybe not a 'main' present, but at that age I don't think they give a hoot as long as they like what they have.

My four year old loves her till and shopping bags, just little fabric ones. She puts upturned boxes next to her kitchen and builds an elaborate shop.

Argos have great Twistables set half price at the moment, if I recall.

Mine plays most with baby, so perhaps you could do highchair/ cot/ other paraphernalia?

Agree with doctors kit; my DD (4 in Nov) is probably getting Playmobil from relatives (playground, take along vet clinic). She's also taken with Little Live Pet butterflies (but smaller gift), and likes the look of Kinetic Sand. We are buying her little presents rather than one big one - she also had a bike as an early birthday present!

knaffedoff · 11/10/2015 07:58

My children have birthdays v close to Xmas, personally I would save the bike for Xmas (does she need 2 big presents close together?) For birthdays, we buy a token gift £15 - £25 and put money in bank. Ds has just bought his own beavers uniform and we normally get annual passes to a theme park with birthday money, when offers are on and the weather is brighter x
