Your name or OH's name first? I think your supposed to do the other persons first aren't you? But I don't. Will they all think I am self centered?! Names just seem to sound better that way round.

How do you sign yours?

Most odd thread of the day maybe??

DH, me, DS...

Used to do me then my pets when I was younger

I think whoever's written the card should put their name first, as they put the effort and the thought in.

Putting DH first: unduly deferential IMO.

Quootiepie · 02/12/2006 14:20

I think the DH should always go first... it looks odd otherwise.

FestivelyFrostyFloss · 02/12/2006 14:20

Yes, also perhaps some of them will glance at it and think, who??

I think it depends who you're writing the card to. To my family/friends I put my name first and to dp's family/friends I put his first.

dmo · 02/12/2006 15:17

if card is to dh family/friends i put his name first
if its to my family/friends i put my name first

DH writes cards to his family and friends. I sign them.

I always get a bit offended if my card from my brother is written by his girlfriend.

My name, DH's name, DS's name and DD's name

IdrisTheRedNosedReindeer · 02/12/2006 15:33

I also was thinking with a pen

mousiemousie · 02/12/2006 15:40

I think it is of no consequence but if I wrote the card I would sign my name first!
