Christmas Outing in London

Has anyone visited the "Shrek's Adventure" attraction on Southbank? Wondering about taking DS (aged 9) for a Christmas treat, but it isn't cheap. Anyone out there in MN world who has visited it and can give me a quick review? DS loves all those films, but I am in two minds in case it's not very good. Thanks in advance!

Hmmm. Dint know but if you go to the south bank you can also visit the Xmas market and I think they open the fairground area too. Lots of great views, places to eat etc

We have been and really enjoyed it, BUT we had free tickets.... How much are they? I never did look at the prices. Also, they take about 4 photos as you are going around and they are presented to you at the end in a story album, if you want to part with £25!! We politely declined.

Thank you for your replies; tickets are £26 adult (£23.40 online) and £20 child (£18.72 online). As youngestisaphyco mentions there are all the risky additional add-ons which will be thrown across our paths too....I think I shall give it a miss and concentrate on the other SouthBank events instead, and maybe find a local panto. Thanks again!
