The beautiful and nostalgic Christmas book "Lucy and Tom's Christmas" by Shirley Hughes has been reprinted this year with a slight tweak to the title and cover picture, and is available on Amazon! Such a cosy story and I so wanted to buy it last year but it was out of print and going for about £30 in paperback!

Just thought I would let anyone else know now if they are big kids like me after a classic picture book for a toddler. Sorry for link below, no idea how to tidy them up on the app.

Beautiful book. I don't have a toddler (youngest is nearly 8) and I still have a flick through this every year Smile Blush. The illustrations are fabulous.

Is that different to 'Lucy and Tom at Christmas'? (which is cheaper)

AnthonyPandy · 30/09/2015 21:51

Lucy and Tom at Christmas £7

Lucy and Tom's Christmas £5

Oh. Or the other way round. Have I muddled them? Anyway, are they two different books?

TheOddity · 01/10/2015 06:53

They are the same book I think, but the Lucy and Tom at Christmas version is the reprint.

I wouldn't order the one that is out of stock hoping it will come back in stock, as that's the old edition and you might be waiting a looong time even though it's cheaper!

I must get this! My 3 yo DD is a huge fan of Alfie and Dogger (as is 7 yo DS but he's too cool to admit it).
