OPINIONS/EXPERIANCES - SUPERHERO DOLLS?

DS(3) is asking for batman for xmas. I've found this set: www.smythstoys.com/uk/en-gb/toys/action-figures-playsets/c-324/batman/p-13618/dc-comics-4-figure-pack/

I was just wondering if other mummies had bought superhero dolls, such as the marvel titan series, for their boys (or girls) and whether they were a hit or miss? I've looked at the imaginext series but don't like the big playsets (we don't have a lot of space for 'big' toys) and I worry the separate characters are too small.

Personally I'd go for Imaginext. If you don't want to get a playset, go for a vehicle of some kind. The figures should last a while and the good thing is that they do other ranges like Star Wars which will be big this December. I'd say that 3 was a perfect age to start.

The Titan series are ok my son now 7 has had a few over the past few years as well as imaginext stuff. Imaginext - we never bought big playsets just a small batman car with batman and a villain set. So I would say either or for them, choose which one you think your son will play with. If you go with imaginext then there is more stuff to add on - vehicles, buildings, villains etc
Toys r us are doing the now buy one get 2nd half price on their marvel Titan figures and marvel hero mashers. The Titan figures are around £7 each so you might save money getting some figures that way.

Oh and I wouldn't say the imaginext figures are too small. Just right for carrying about etc so not too bulky like the Titan series to take out and about.

DS has a Captain America one that he still plays with. That's set of 4 looks nice as he'll be able to make the characters play together.

My sons loved their superhero figures. My favourite memory is hearing them doing proper gruff batman voices "do you want some more tea suoerman?" " oh yes please batman and a jammy dodger. Shall we go shopping?" Jump into dd's pink Barbie vw, vroom.
They still do at 24.

thank you I've decided to order the set. i'm sure he will love them. boys dolls seem to be a thing at the moment, they even have the larger sized power rangers out now. reminds me of the old action man.
