What do you do when you can't start your xmas shopping yet?!

I always start my Christmas shopping in Sept but we're moving at the end of next month and I can't start til after that as it would be silly to move everything/ it might get seen by the wrong eyes/ we need to buy thing for our new house first. But I want to shop!! How can I restrain myself til nearly November?!

Make lists and plan meticulouslly.

Or have presents delivered to a friend who will stash them for you until November!

I've made lists I've even got things in my Amazon basket! And I've planned my X mad eve and Boxing Day parties ( we'll finally have a big enough house to reciprocate the invitations we've had over the past 10 years!) I'm so excited!!

I struggle with this. I save in a scheme for Christmas and can't get the money until October but I feel twitchy leaving it until then no idea why as I have no dc to worry about

I have made lists of who to buy for, budget and ideas then found things online that fit and have saved them.
I am now spending an awful amount of time looking at Christmas food and drink ideas and decorations. Because it's so early, I've had time to think about it properly have decided I want new coloured lights for the big tree that is in our front garden (DH thinks I'm mad by the way) but I love it.

Then only other thing I could do but haven't yet is write Christmas cards as I bought this years lot in the after-Christmas sales last year.

It's a pain isn't it?! We'll have room to host for the first time ever this year so I've been planning lots of lovely food too

I feel your pain. Part of me thinks it is ludicrous that I can't order my m and s food until 5 October

Lol it'll soon come round though!
