What address do you use for Father Christmas?

It is our first year writing to FC and I don't know what address to use! I think that when I was little that the Post Office used to "forward" the letters on, and we used to receive a reply. Is this still the case, does anyone know?

Thanks!

We put ours on the hearth for the elves to come down the chimney in the night and collect.

Obviously Father Christmas lives in Canada.

I think the address I grew up with was

Santa Claus
The North Pole
H0H 0H0 (Valid canadian postcode )

Obviously these days I'd use email.

This was the "PO ruling" about 8 years ago: If you put a valid country the Royal Mail are supposed to deliver it to that country but if you put just put "Father Christmas" it used to go to a special office and dealt with there! (ie reply from santa send to child if name and address were included!)

Be careful if you are going away at christmas, children often put "we are staying at grandmas house so please could you bring our toys there as we wont be home until January". Theres no need to advertise an empty house is there
