Hello all,

Hopefully the second message on the thread will contain a list of potentially useful links. I haven't checked through all of last years useful links so if I've missed any good ones please let me know and I'll amend.

I'll do my best to keep it updated with each new thread.

DD was watching some kind of Disney Christmas cartoon this morning so I'm feeling rather festive today :)

MrsVBK The Lego advent calendar is back at £14.59 Grin

Dandelionflower · 23/09/2015 14:24

The Yankee candle advent calendar is down to £21.33 from Amazon. I've bought one for my mums birthday at the end of November

ARockNRollNerd · 23/09/2015 14:27

Does Amazon ever reduce their prices in relation to the Argos 3 for 2? Wishful thinking I know!

Rum it says it ends Tuesday on their website. I'd presume it's same in store :)

Dandelionflower · 23/09/2015 14:29

ARock I'm Amazon did reduce some toys by a third last year to match Argos.

ARockNRollNerd · 23/09/2015 14:37

Thanks Dandelion. I'll keep an eye out then :)

That advent calendar you posted is fab. I bought one for DM and I'm sitting on my hands to stop me buying another one for myself and I'm not even much of a candle fan!
Need to find myself a different advent calendar to treat myself too I think.

alli1968 · 23/09/2015 14:41

thanks nomanjan - v cool - sorted for god daughters!

Dandelionflower · 23/09/2015 14:42

I'm not Amazon, I'm sure Amazon did reduce the toys.

I might order another calendar for myself as I also have a November birthday. Grin

RumAppleGinger · 23/09/2015 15:23

Thanks nerd will do some more digging as to what DS1 is hoping is going to bring him.

neddle · 23/09/2015 15:46

Not very bargainous at the moment, but wasn't someone looking for Everest from Paw Patrol?

PjDay · 23/09/2015 15:51

Firstly so many Sainsburys bargains today so here are my best ones...
Frozen Anna dress up with fur trimmed cape reduced to £7 then 25% off so a fab £5.25!
Kids craft sets from 30p.
Lovely wooden stampers and ink pad £1.25.
20 neutral and red heart napkins 60p.

Tesco had Nike satchel down to £6.50, ideal for teen boys plus backpacks for younger kids down to £2.25 for marvel etc.

John Lewis clearance section is always worth a look too.

Whatabout · 23/09/2015 15:58

Morrisons have the tubs of chocolates down to two for £7, think that's usually as low as they go unless anyone knows different? I have heard sometimes they go down to £3 but i don't think I've seen them.

AndDeepBreath · 23/09/2015 16:33

Lego friends lighthouse at lowest recorded price according to CamelCamelCamel

kiwidreamer · 23/09/2015 16:47

Lego Star Wars advent calendar down to £18.some pennies free delivery with Prime, I'm not sure if it will go cheaper usually around £25 so I've grabbed one

MrsVBK · 23/09/2015 17:40

Thanks very much 2anddone - got it this time!

stacysmom · 23/09/2015 17:53

Not the lowest it's ever been (according to Camel Camel Camel) but for the sake of £3 I'm not hanging around. Playmobil family camper van at £27 http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B0032O8OIQ/ref=mpssa111?qid=1443026989&sr=8-1&pi=SX200_QL40&keywords=playmobil+camper+van&dpPl=1&dpID=61B7h8LgehL&ref=plSrch
(Sorry, can't do fancy links, testing the new app Smile)

captainflash · 23/09/2015 18:05

ARock some stuff on Amazon has been reduced. Just depends what you're after. My son wants the nerf modulus for instance, which is £60 on Argos and £40 on Amazon. The upgrade kits are £18 each in Argos and around £13 on Amazon.
Don't forget about Flubit if you use that site too. They try and get you a better price than Amazon- which is brilliant if the product is reduced on Amazon. They can't always get it cheaper but try to.

babsmam · 23/09/2015 18:07

Not sure if anyone has posted as no chance to catch up yet. Morrisons have the tubs of hero, celebration, quality Street and roses 2for £7

BeamingBrenda · 23/09/2015 18:12

Oh god I want all of Smiggle.

Are the scented pencils any good? Do they actually smell?

And do the colour changing pencils actually change colour?

I'm hoping you will tell me no so I can save some money Grin

Dogmatix34 · 23/09/2015 18:15

Dogmatix34 · 23/09/2015 18:22

shadesofwinter · 23/09/2015 18:25

Bit of a lurker here but I had a Camelcamelcamel alert today for the K'NEX Cat Mario building set, which at £18.24 is the lowest price it's been.

IdaShaggim · 23/09/2015 18:39

Elf DVD (Will Ferrell) for £2.24 on Ebay... Can't link sorry as on phone! Probably not cheapest ever, but pretty cheap nonetheless and a nice one to have for the Xmas season...

CakeNinja · 23/09/2015 18:48

Beaming yes, the scented pencils do have a lasting strong smell. Dd got some for her birthday early on in the year and they still have a strong smell.
Haven't had the colour change pencils but the pens work well.
It's worth waiting for the sales as I find their prices at full rrp just silly for what it is. However the dds will happily spend all their pocket money in one go there and they don't hang about for the sales!

Thanks for the Lego friend lighthouse link, I've bought that and a few other LF things for my nieces birthday next week :)

PamelaEwing · 23/09/2015 18:49

John Adams 3D Studio Card Maker £4.80 at Tesco, great price! (Amazon also have it at this price but over orders of £20).
