Hello all,

Hopefully the second message on the thread will contain a list of potentially useful links. I haven't checked through all of last years useful links so if I've missed any good ones please let me know and I'll amend.

I'll do my best to keep it updated with each new thread.

DD was watching some kind of Disney Christmas cartoon this morning so I'm feeling rather festive today :)

stacysmum Thanks for Smiggle sale tip. I bought a few items for my DD who would love that shop. I got:

Count me Bear Money Box £5

Woodlands pencil case £5

And then spotted they had 5 items for £5 which included these mini babushka erasers. I also bought some funky pencils and sharpener.

The power rangers costume that another poster mentioned in Home Bargains is great value. I had a look at them today and it's the same one that I ordered from amazon a few weeks ago for £16! (They're £3.99 in home bargains btw). They only had the red ones which is the colour I already have. If anyone sees any other colour power ranger outfits or any other bargain power ranger toys etc I'd be rrally grateful if you could post.

Also in home bargains were my little ponies for £3.50. They're normally around £5 though they're on offer in tesco at the moment for £3.99 and last year they had them buy one get one free in tesco so £5 for 2 which is the best price I've seen them!

Included in the smiggle sale are their double decker lunch bags, reduced from £15 to £7. I got one today. Lovely designs for boys as well as girls.

RumAppleGinger · 23/09/2015 12:32

My giant £12 T-rex has arrived. Between that and the playmobil pirate ship all my hiding spaces are taken up and I'm going to have to shift it all up to the loft to be sure DS doesn't stumble on it.

Hit sainsburys this morning and got peter pan and Harry potter dressing up that are both going to go down a treat. Also took advantage of the argos 3 for 2 with Bing and Twirlywoo toys for DS2.

Thank you so much to everyone who is sharing their bargain finds. You are all saving me a fortune!

Now on to the trickier presents. DH & BIL.

shash1982 · 23/09/2015 12:35

Is it too early to watch christmas films!?Grin

Argos 3 for 2, they are honouring the sale prices that are on the individual items online. Remember last yr they didn't.

neddle · 23/09/2015 12:47

I bought a blanket NoManJan so you might be able to see that?
Let me know when you get to three and I'll put my link up - hopefully a few of us can do it Smile.

Oooh, thanks tistime I missed the Lego Frozen castle last time.

Only one last present to get her and then she's done - woo!

CakeNinja · 23/09/2015 13:50

Apologies for any multiple posts on this, haven't rtft, it's quite long!
Went in to smiggle today, colour changing umbrellas down from £16.50 ( Hmm ) to £5, pen sets from £10 to £5, make your own bunting £8.50 down to £3 and colour your own stickers from £10 to £5.
Loads of those sorts of things. Spent £70 but looking at the (overinflated) prices it was worth over £150.
Don't know if it's online too, but worth a look if you're passing.

RumAppleGinger · 23/09/2015 14:19

Does anyone know how long the argos 3 for 2 runs for. I meant to ask in store today but totally forgot.
