Hello all,

Hopefully the second message on the thread will contain a list of potentially useful links. I haven't checked through all of last years useful links so if I've missed any good ones please let me know and I'll amend.

I'll do my best to keep it updated with each new thread.

DD was watching some kind of Disney Christmas cartoon this morning so I'm feeling rather festive today :)

Wanted to say thanks to toblerone for posting about the MLP Pinkie Pies in Argos, picked 2 up today's for my dds and they are fab! Really big and a complete bargain for £10 each FlowersFlowersFlowers

Chocolateteabag · 23/09/2015 19:11

Thanks for the Lego City Advent calendar heads up - just got it for £14.59

Binglet · 23/09/2015 19:24

Does anyone know if Argos plan on doing another 3 for 2 event between now and Xmas?! My Christmas savings don't become available until November. Have twitched and bought her a doll and a doc mcstuffins wagon on the 2 for £15 deal. DSD is absolutely the hardest child to buy for. She has Lego galore, and doesn't actually play with anything for very long when she's with us. I think it's more a "I'm only here two weekend a month I need to play with absolutely everything". Shes 6.

Sofia the first magical amulet down to £7.29. Lowest price according to CCC.

ItStillLooksLikeRainDear · 23/09/2015 19:45

On Amazon!

ItStillLooksLikeRainDear · 23/09/2015 19:50

Had a CCC alert on clangers. Family pack of figures £7.26 (was 9.99) and £18.24 for the home planet playset.

Following - awaiting pay day

Ginxed · 23/09/2015 21:12

Thanks for the Lego bargains, just bought Elsa's castle and the creator shops for their lowest prices ever - fab!

I'm tracking a few things on ccc so I'll post here when they price drops - Elsa's magic snow sleeve, lego police station and some baby annabell accessories.

Am I right in thinking that there will be another Tesco Boost before Christmas? Does anyone have any idea when it might start?

BeamingBrenda · 23/09/2015 21:52

Has anyone seen any offers on muscial jewellery boxes? The type where the fairy spins when you lift the lid. I need two!

PjDay · 23/09/2015 21:57

Binglet Argos did a few 3for2's last year and one was in the first week of November if I recall correctly.

PjDay · 23/09/2015 21:58

BeamingBrenda my local TK Maxx have some in for £5.99 at the minute.

Iggi999 · 23/09/2015 22:11

I am so pissed off with Argos - and myself, as I remember this from last year too! You wait for the price to go down, and then happily try to order or reserve. And no stock. I have tried where I live, where pil live (a 100 miles away) where my family live (400 odd miles away) and none of the stores have stock in. It's just a ploy to get you looking at their stuff Sad

Rainuntilseptember15 · 23/09/2015 22:24

Not a bad price for this duplo train which was a hit with many last year:

CakeNinja · 23/09/2015 22:43

Beaming the scented pencils were at the till full price (bought a pack for each dd) and didn't see the colour changing pencils in the sale bit.
I only looked in the sale bit as I resent paying full price smiggle prices for things that aren't specially requested!

CakeNinja · 23/09/2015 22:43

Apart from the scented pencils obviously! Think they were £4 a pack?

CakeNinja · 23/09/2015 22:45

Should say I think they were £4 per pack of 4 pencils!
Daylight robbery if ever I saw it!
But they love them, so that's my justification.

daddykyller · 23/09/2015 22:59

Argos 3 for 2 started tonight :)
Only on until next Tuesday

Got a voucher code for The Hut - Use code 20EXTRA and get 20% off in The Hut Fashion Clearance

Wilko have now launched their Christmas shop online

Sports Direct have another Flash Sale on Ladies clothes this time

There's lots going on at the Entertainer Toy Shop
Including half price superhero stuff

This minions card game on Amazon - says it was £39.99, which I can't believe it was really, but it is now £2.70 and makes an excellent stocking filler :)

And spotted this on the Toys R Us outlet on ebay:
33% off this large Lego Avengers set

PjDay · 23/09/2015 23:07

Rain the DUPLO TRAIN is £9.99 in the argos 3for2 if anyone is needing another two toys.

Rainuntilseptember15 · 23/09/2015 23:11

Thanks PJ Flowers
The minions game is a blind bag thing with a we figure and a selection of cards - then you have to keep buying more. £30 my arse.

PamelaEwing · 24/09/2015 06:42

up to 50% off at Monsoon

Also, Amazon RRP's are often over inflated so don't believe the original selling price is always accurate Wink Always good to compare a few other websites to see whether the Amazon bargain is really such a bargain!

toastyarmadillo · 24/09/2015 07:02

I missed the dinosaur train t Rex Sad

chicaguapa · 24/09/2015 07:36

I think the decimal point is in the wrong place for the Minion cards. Work on the basis that they're usually £3.99.

TobleroneBoo · 24/09/2015 08:09

My first Flowers thanks Brenda glad they were OK

d270r0 · 24/09/2015 08:16
