Hello all,

Hopefully the second message on the thread will contain a list of potentially useful links. I haven't checked through all of last years useful links so if I've missed any good ones please let me know and I'll amend.

I'll do my best to keep it updated with each new thread.

DD was watching some kind of Disney Christmas cartoon this morning so I'm feeling rather festive today :)

Thanks KitKat, I kept missing the Playmobil Unicorn Advent calendar at a low price but have finally got it! (having ignored the fact that I was going to reuse the Playmobil advent calendar I bought last year when DD was under 2 on the basis that she wouldn't remember it, ooops...)

Deedeecupcake · 22/09/2015 17:20

50% off all orders over €50 on Photobox with code IEFLASH50. Ends 9pm tonight. Not sure if it's a one use only code but I won't use it!

Deedeecupcake · 22/09/2015 17:23

Oh and Zatchels have a 60% sale on with an extra 10% off with code VIP10. Again, not sure if it's a one use code but I won't be using it (unfortunately :( love their bags!!)

Argos 3 for 2 is starting tomorrow apparently.

Better be 'cause I've just reserved my 3 things! Bloody Jurassic World stuff that has barely dropped by more than a couple of pounds so the 3 for 2 should be a good deal.

Timon-perfect, thank you!

candykane25 · 22/09/2015 20:28

I have only just realised you can buy from debenhams on amazon.
If you search debenhams, on on the filter go to the seller drop
Down list and select debenhams, there is loads of reduced stock.
On the department filter, I chose Clothing, then Women, then Accesories. Shed loads of hats and scarves including fairisle stuff. An example here

Candy that's fab Smile will try to put a link to the whole set here as a note to self...

ZIGGY911 · 22/09/2015 21:40

does anyone have any ideas for 9 year old boy and 7 year old girl. Want to spend about £20 (ideally argos in 3 for 2) struggling at the moment but ideas are science kit and shopkins

ValiumQueen · 22/09/2015 21:44

Been away for over a year. I have missed this thread the most Smile

PoopPoooDeDooo · 22/09/2015 21:45

Ziggy- IME Lego or R/C for 9yo and crafty things for the 7 yo always go down well

margaritasbythesea · 22/09/2015 21:51

hello valium queen!

candykane25 · 22/09/2015 21:52

AndDeepBreath I couldn't figure out how to do that! Thank you!

AndDeepBreath · 22/09/2015 21:58

I'm amazed it worked tbh Candy! Thanks again for the link, I now have three more nice cheap scarfs to add to my growing collection of gifts or keep all for myself Grin

candykane25 · 22/09/2015 23:29

I may have earmarked a hat or two for myself...

Question for all, what do you think about hair chalk pens as gifts? I think they are fun but wouldnt want to upset my friends by giving them to their children.

Izzybuzzybuzzybees · 23/09/2015 00:01

I've just ordered 5 bags from the zatchel website so thank you very much deedee. Hadn't heard of them before but look lovely and ideal for the 3 girlfriends I buy for :)

Waves to valium too. I've not been on here since last Xmas thread either!

bettythebuilder · 23/09/2015 00:29

Thanks for the L'Occitane code AVC69 , I've ordered a shaving dish and soap thingy for dh... didn't get free delivery, so used click and collect as have a local shop- £10 off and 2 samples, so v pleased!

PamelaEwing · 23/09/2015 08:17

Just a reminder that Argos 3 for 2 started today and ELC also have half price on a selection of products.

Was in TK Maxx yesterday and they had a lot of good toys as well as Christmas items in stock. Sometimes you go in there and don't find much, yesterday was definitely NOT one of those days Grin

Binglet · 23/09/2015 08:18

If anyone has an experience of Doc McStuffins soft toys from Ali Express can you let me know. DD is obsessed. Want to get her the big book of boo boos and some of the other characters in soft toys.

QueenofallIsee · 23/09/2015 09:12

I LOVED this thread last year and I may love it even slightly more now!

Ordered the 49.99 kindle fire, 3 pairs of Aliexpress 'Heelies' (I wouldn't of dared if not for the recommendation on here so thanks so much for the poster who did the 'hit and miss' list). For anyone who is/has a partner who is a cycling buff, I also ordered winter cycling accessories - hopefully they will be OK! The Jack Wills outlet was a fab tip, I managed to get a beautiful tweed handbag for SIL for £17! amazing

I don't know if anyone is interested but here is an Ashley Bridget code that gives you 60% off the whole store and yes, also gets me referral credit! The delivery charges are OK for US and v reliable. I bought this bracelet in silver and gold, its awesome
