My son dictated his Father Christmas letter, and asked for (among other things) lots of presents for his little brother (ahhh). However, little brother is 1.5yrs and doesnt want/need anything. DS is also getting a stocking, but I dont know what to do for the little one, again, I dont want big bro to be confused. We are on a tight budget this year so dont want to buy lots of stuff that isnt needed....any ideas??

for a stocking i would put in a tube of milky buttons, some socks, and maybe some crayons (crayola do ones suitable from 12months), as for main pressie's a nice baby car or a push along or ride on something like that, maybe an outfit to wear xmas day and a colouring book. shouldnt cost more than about 30-40 pound i think

you don't have to spend that much!

xmasmummy · 27/11/2006 17:58

that was a rough estimate xx

on the big day, do you think the older one will really notice

i always bulk out stockings with stuff like new toothbrush and flannel, even pieces of fruit are good at that age. Books? Check out the charity shops they won't know where they come from.
