Suggestions needed for surplus present money!!!

I have bought DD1 an electric guitar with amp for christmas, and it has turned out to be much cheaper than I imagined. I thought the guitar would be about £100 and the amp £40, so I told grandparents that I could buy the amp on their behalf and that could be her present from them. However, the whole set only cost £70, so what would you suggest I do with the surplus? I couldn't take £20 each from them and only pay £30 from me (it wouldn't feel right) but I can't now tell them it was cheap, because, knowing them, they would then feel obliged to dash out and get something after all (when they thought they had her present sorted already) Any suggestions gratefully received!

why not an extra special home made food hamper from you to give to them
filled with exotic stuff and a bottle of wine

Can you return cash to gps and explain? They can then buy her something else.

plecktrums, foot pedals, a nice strap maybe?
Some books on guitar instruction?
Is she really into the electric guitar that much?
How old is she??

She is 12 and seriously into music. She wanted a drum kit most of all (!!!) but also an electric guitar, which I thought would be kinder to the eardrums (I have only bought a small 3v amp, so not too noisy). Love the idea of the sheet music/music stand. Will definitely do that, I think. Thanks Ladies!
