Where to get nice dolls?

Just that, my DD is coming up to 2 and all she really enjoys playing with is dolls. She has several but they're all just cheapy ones which are fine, but I'd like to get her a more special 'naice' one for her birthday, I just don't know where to look! I've only had boys before and was never into dolls myself.

Thanks in advance.

The La Corelle dolls are lovely, I thought their faces were less creepy than many dolls and they have been well played with by my kids for several years. I got them from Amazon.

Do you mean baby dolls or Barbie-type ones? Lottie dolls are a nice alternative to Barbie.

Just seen your DD's age - keep note of the Lottie dolls for when she's a bit older!

Petalina are lovely and do a great gift wrap. Their selection is excellent, lots of quality European made dolls. Expensive but lovely. Very sad DD has outgrown dolls.
