Imaginext batman stuff- is it good?

The reviews look excellent for this but why is it so good?
Worth buying for a 3 yr old who loves Play Mobil and super Heroes?

Yes, yes, yes! We bought the imaginext batcave and other models when my son was 3/4 he turns 7 this week and is still in really good condition and he still plays with it, as does his younger sister. They are really made to last, and its fab for imaginative play. Couldn't recommend it enough

Same as KittyCat my DS is still playing with 4 years later. In fact I asked him this week could it go as he has other toys to play with it. I got a resounding NO and a look of disgust .

I meant to add I he also loves the Dinosaurs as well.

Yes, well worth it. My ds 1 got the batcave when he was 4, he is 8 now and still plays with it. Every child who comes to play loves it too. Highly recommended, especially if he already enjoys playmobil.

It doesn't appeal to me at all, if it wasn't for the "what are your kids still playing with" thread I would never have thought of getting him it.
Should I get extra figures to go with it?

I have only because his sister likes to play with it as and it saves arguements when they want the same person.
